CHAPTER 9: FRIENDS

LILY'S POV

I couldn't possibly believe my eyes , everything was just as I had expected it , If not more.

The carriage arrived at the gates of the enchanted kingdom after nine whole boring hours.

The gates were made out silver plated iron and had vines interweaved in them.

My bags were taken to my room while I was escorted to the administration office to get my needed items and stationarys .

It was a huge room with a waiting area and a wooden desk at the far end, where the burser sat at.

She looked like a middle age woman nothing less than thirty three years old.

She had blonde hair and it was packed into a sleek,tight bun.

"So you must be Princess Lily Octavia."said the burser.

"Yes ma'am"

"Call me Miss Hazelflacks ,your mom and I are really good friends and you look like a really nice girl yourself."

I smiled at her words"Thank you ."

"No problem dear ,here are your schedule,class timetable, ID card , stationaries and map of the school."

I took everything and shoved it into my bag. Then I made my way out of her office .

The academy had two dorms ,one for the males and the other for the females.

The distance from the administration office to the girls dorm was like a chore but I eventually reached there.

The walls of the building was so clean and white . The hallways were also very nice . I'm sure they took their hygiene very serious.

I passed a few other girls who didn't really pay much attention to me before I took a flight of stairs to reach my dorm room.

I took a deep breath calming my nerves before unlocking the door with my key and entering the room.

"WOW!" I exclaimed .

The room was so huge . It was split in two sides ,mine obviously at the left side of the room.

The other half of the room was painted blue and had already been arranged , meaning my roommate must be around.

There was another smaller door in the room which when I opened it ,lead to the the bathroom.

It's was quite big enough and spacious too,with it's large ceramic bathtub ,metal shower and golden sink.

Hmmm this school really does live up to their standards.

"Well I guess I better start unpacking now in order to rest later." I told my self .

After what seemed like hours , I had finished arranging, unpacking,
cleaning and setting up my side of the room.

It came out pretty well, with my reading desk towards the window and my closet at the back of the wall.I also decorated the walls with pictures and artworks I took from the palace.

Then on top of the window I put a vase of ice lilies ,which can't be grown any where else except from Icenburg.

I was more than exhausted,so I flew to my bed and snuggled into the dozens of pillows I had and napped away.

33 Minutes later

"Do you think she's awake?"

"Of course she's awake, she's literally breathing."

"But what if she's dying or something like that."

"Can you just stop being negative for one second."

I heard a few voices arguing but because of laziness ,I refused to wake up.

I figured they would stop eventually but boy was I wrong. They didn't stop and that made me to reluctantly wake up from my nap.

"Oh come on ,you guys have been arguing since." I said pretty annoyed

"O yay!, she's not dead." One of the girls screamed.

"Told you Rose."

Now that I took closer look at the two girls, I had to admit they were really beautiful.

While the first one had long blue hair and pale blue eyes ,the other girl had long straight auburn hair and green mossy eyes.

"Ehem." The blue haired girl snapped me out of my daze.

"Sorry for waking you up,when we came into the room and saw you ,I was sure you were very exhausted and I wanted to leave you alone but this one over here won't just agree." The blue haired girl pointed to her friend.

"Oh don't worry it's fine." I said.

"So we haven't really introduced ourselves ,my name is Selina , daughter of the sea and this my friend over here is Rosseta ."

"Princess and fairy of nature ,but my friends call me Rose for short." she smiled.

Her smile was just so sweet.

"Well my name is Princess Lily of Icenburg."

"Wait the lily of Icenburg?" asked Seli na

"Yeah"

"No way !, remember we used to attend dance classes together when we were little."

And then it suddenly clicked in my head, Selina was my best friend when we were little ,her parents usually visited my parents and that's how we became close.

We even attended dance classes together and were so mischievous.

"How could I possibly forget ,I'm so sorry ,it's just that you look so different now."

It was true the last time we saw each other was when we were only nine years old.

"Well my friend, puberty hit and I transformed into this gorgeous goddess." she bragged and we all started laughing.

"Wait one more thing ,who among you guys is my roommate?"

They looked at each other and started laughing ,I just sat there confused.

"I guess fate really favors you guys, selinas your roommate, my dorm room is the third one on your right."
said Rose.

"Since there's nothing we can help you with,seeing you have already set up why don't we take a stroll around the school."said selina.

"Yay ! I haven't left the dorm yet."rose squealed.

"Me too,let me just freshen up first."

They waited for me too finished first ,then the three of us departed the room. We didn't have any classes until next week Monday.

So we were free to relax and get comfortable.
