Lily's POV

The sun was at its highest peak in the sky, shining brightly upon the compounds of the enchanted academy. The surreal blur of the sky and white fluffy clouds also graced us with their presence, showing that the gods were in a good mood. But that same calmness could not be said for the school.

Everyone and I mean everyone was in a frenzy. People were running up and down, across the halls, shouting to put things in place.

Despite all the commotion happening just outside the walls of my dorm. Here I am sleeping on my bed looking like I fought the imperial second war.

The Knight slayed the bastard cultist, flew on the dragon, and rescued the two famous princes. The Knight delivered them safely to their kingdom. The King told the knight to request anything from him. Not before someone knocked off the knight's helmet to reveal him being...,

"Ahhh, what the hell was that," I screamed and abruptly woke up from my dream.

"Language, princess.
"And finally! I was able to wake you up!" said Selina as she stood in front of me while looking like she wanted to strangle me or something.

I looked at myself and realized I was soaking wet.

"Water? Where did this come from?" I asked myself feeling utterly confused.

"Fairy of Water standing right here." Selina motioned to herself as she waved her hands, forming a little water bubble from her palms. I groaned and fell back on the bed.

"Oh no, you don't. Are you dumb or just stupid? Don't you even know what today is?" She questioned me.

"Sleep disturbance day?" I replied while moaning sleepily into my pillow.

"No, dummy. It's the end of the term's event day." My eyes shot open.

"You're kidding me right?"

"Ughhh, did you hit your head as a child or something? How is it so hard for you to understand simple English."
I guess she decided I was a lost cause and just left my side.

"No, no, no, no, no! Why didn't you wake me up sooner? I overslept." I flew from my bed and started running around the room, trying to get myself in order.

"Surprisedly, I did try to wake you up but you sleep like a dead log." It's true but it's not my fault. Yesterday, the humanities club was asked, well more like forced to assist the student council and other students to arrange the school, tidying the environment, attaching the decorations and banners, and making sure things like the podium, tents, chairs, canopies, refreshments were in place.

It was a long, dreary day and because we did not have any classes that whole day, we were entitled to work till evening. I got back to my dorms after having my dinner and felt like I had just been bulldozed by a dragon. My body hurt badly and the exhaustion I felt was not a nice experience. If not for the warm bath that relaxed my nerves and muscles. I'm sure I would have been too tired to even talk.

I fell asleep right away and didn't even think I remembered wishing Selena a good night.

Only to find out that I'm late for one of the most looked forward event of the year. I started making my bed. Then proceeded to grab my bathing supplies. I turned and headed towards the door but stopped in awe at the sight before me. Selina had hair curlers in her hair and she was taking them out one by one. Letting her hair fall into beautiful blue-colored waves.

Her hair is naturally straight unlike mine and Roses's own which are somehow wavy. She looked breathtaking.

"I know I look gorgeous you don't have to drool all over yourself to acknowledge the fact," Selina said and smirked.
