Complicated City hearts

Chapter 5

It was a magical moment. I felt all the happiness in the world. After the Ferris wheel, we walked around the city some more, and it was getting dark. We decided to just relax and find a spot nearby to lay down at. We lied down next to each other and he held me as my eyes were closing. It was such a long day. I had gotten no sleep from the night before, but it was definitely worth it. "Damn. You are such an interesting girl Julie. You have been through so much and deserve the whole entire world."
"Thank you so much Sebastian." My heart gets all happy and I smile big.

My eyes open, I check the time and it is already 11pm. Crap. I haven't even spoken to Matilda, and I have work tomorrow. "Hey, Sebastian, are you awake?"
"Yes, I am, what is it beautiful?"
"I have work tomorrow and it is already 11pm, don't you have work too?"
"Oh. Shoot. I do." We decide to get up and he carries me on his back and we laugh when he almost drops me. He takes me all the way back to my apartment and gives me a big, long hug. "I get off work tomorrow at five-thirty, are you free after?
"Yes, I sure am." We both laugh again.
"Thank you for this week Sebastian."
"No, thank you Julie."
"I will text you."
"See you tomorrow beautiful." He gives me one last hug and kisses me goodbye. I head inside my apartment and Matilda is asleep. I can't believe Sebastian and I have only known each other for a couple weeks and he asked me out today. I already feel like I know him so well. I set my alarm for work tomorrow and I quickly take a shower and fall asleep in my bed. I smile so big because I am so happy. I hope this happiness lasts forever.

It's the next morning and Matilda wakes me up because I almost slept through my alarm again. "Girl! It is almost nine! You better hurry up, I already made your morning coffee and breakfast for you." Matilda yells in my ear.
"Ahh thank you so much." I say in a very tired voice. "So, are you gonna tell me why you haven't answered any of my texts girl?"
"Oh my goodness, yes I am so so sorry. I will tell you everything later after work, okay?"
"Okay girl, don't forget!" I rush out the door and we say goodbye to each other. She is my best friend and roommate, but she can be kinda annoying sometimes, I love her though.
I rush into work almost dropping my coffee but making it on time. My boss eyes me and then once again, rolls her eyes. She is so annoying, but I don't care. I open up my laptop and start writing my news story for this week. I then continue writing my romance novel.

Hours later, I finally finish my news story with a total of 900 words and I finish the first nine chapters of my romance novel, and I am so exhausted. But, it's my job and I love it so that makes it 10 times even better. I check the time and it is four-o'clock. I get off work at five so I just decide to edit, and do some extra work. I edit my news story and my novel. It doesn't take that long to do, so I get done pretty quickly. I check the time again, and it is now 4:50pm. I have 10 minutes left. I decide to check my messages and I notice that Sebastian texted me.

Sebastian: Hey, I had the most amazing time with you. Thank you for everything Julie, really.

Juliet: Hi! I did too. Thank you for everything Sebastian.

Sebastian: Do you still want to hangout sometime later today?

Juliet:Yes, I would like to.

Sebastian: Crap. Actually, I am busy, I have plans after I get off work at five-thirty. But we could hangout later tonight after?

Juliet: Oh, okay yes that is okay! Sounds great!

Sebastian: Sounds great. I will pick you up at eight.

Juliet: See you then.

I wonder what plans he made. He is probably just busy hanging out with his friends, I don't need to overthink this. I pickup my laptop and all my stuff and clock out. I get to my apartment and Matilda is all dressed up at the door. "Hey, how was work?" She says smiling happily.
"Hey, it was pretty great, I finished a lot. What about you? How was work?"
"It was good!"
"Well you seem extra happy today Matilda."
"I am! I am going on a date and I am actually so excited for once!"
"Aw. That is great, I am so happy for you!"
"Thank you Juliet."
"Is it that same guy that you were talking about the other day?"
"Yes, it sure is." She says laughing.
"Oh crap. My date is gonna pick me up soon, but I will talk to you later okay Juliet?"
"Oh okay." She runs out the door and a really nice sports car pulls up. I peek through the window and I notice that car looks really familiar. Hmmm, it's probably just the same car, those cars are really popular nowadays. Matilda hasn't even told me her new boyfriend's name. But I also haven't told her mine. It's okay, she and I can talk about it another time.
