It feels safe
For others
To not know you
Completely
And pretend
To be someone
New
Every time
But still
Parts of you show
And it's terrifying
To know
You might
Not be concealed
Enough
Sink
Slowly
Deeply
And no one
Will hear me
Exposed
or Truly
Darkness
Feels safer
Than a sunny day
And snow
Crisp and sparkling
Hide
All the ugly flaws away
I can talk forever
But you won't ever
Find out
About things
I might have said
But God knows all
Concealed
And
Open
I feel even safer
