It was easter, all my rich family was here at my house. I had to act happy and smiley to impress them or else I'd most likely be disowned. So I wore pink stiletto heels, my hair in a loose braid, and a beautiful white dress that tightened at my chest and flowed down to my thighs.
I walked around, joking around, being fake like all of my family. Kade and I actually acted like we liked each other, and I exchanged polite banter, censoring everything I actually wanted to say. Like commenting on how my aunt was on her sixth marriage, or how my uncle abused his children. No, we ignored that. So once I could, I stepped into my room. The last time I saw Dean, it was November, it's been like five months since then. Still I remember kissing his cheek, and I longed for him to be back. I'd always been depressed but around him I was actually happy. Then he left, and now I'm stuck with my passive aggressive, stab-you-in-the-back-with-a-smile family.
Letting out a sigh, I leaned against my door, pressing my head against it and staring at the ceiling. I was done with my stupid family.
"Something wrong kitten?" A familiar voice asked, my eyes widened, and I looked forward, Dean was casually sitting on my bed, his blue eyes met mine and surprise pulsed through me. His smirked at me surprise. He stood up, and pulled me into him, hugging me.
His lips brushed against my ear softly as he whispered, "Happy easter."
