Dean's P.O.V.
When I woke up, I was slumped over the kitchen table, and Luna was too. She looked disheveled. Slowly I straightened myself up, and she woke up too. Blinking profusely. But I felt something, on my other half, Sandra's emotions. There was primal fear coursing through her, so much so that it was effecting me too. "Where is Sandra?" I asked, and then I left the kitchen, not even asking questions, when I burst into the bedroom, she wasn't there. Luna was behind me.
"I don't know." Horror filled her voice and delicate features. "What the hell happened?" I demanded, tempting to slam her against the wall. "I don't know, Diane made the tea, I guess she put sleeping meds in it to make sure we were getting a healthy amount of sleep!" Her voice was innocent and panicked. "Dammit!" I shouted, storming down stairs.
I grabbed a frying pan, and started banging it against people's door, shouting at the top of my lungs for them to wake up. Soon everyone was in the kitchen. "You idiots failed your one job!" I shouted harshly, everyone flinched. I wasn't done yet. "Sandra is gone! Get the fuck out there and start looking for her!" I ordered, they did. Everyone shifted. Luna lightly touched my arm, but I never liked Luna. She was the cute, stab-you-in-the-back-and-smile kind of type. I whipped around, and her eyes widened innocently. "What?" I snapped. "Maybe you should stay behind..." She trailed off pleadingly, and I was done. Sandra's fear was coursing through me, and it fueled my anger.
Grabbing her arms, I slammed her against the wall, lifting her off of the ground. Her eyes were widened, "I swear to god Luna, if I figure out that you were a part of this," I leaned in with narrowed eyes, "I will make sure you suffer." She knew I wasn't joking, every fiber in my being meant those words. I dropped her to the ground, and called Levi. Him and Diane were over, but I was gone when they got there. I'd shifted, and I was looking.
Her scent trail ended, and I was left standing in field, there was blood on the ground. Her blood. I ran to the house, it was obvious she'd been held at gun point, I just smell the metallic paint traces in her blood. So I got back, Diane and Levi were talking. Sandra had became a daughter of sorts to them, and Diane's eyes were bloodshot, she'd been crying. "Find anything?" She sounded desperate.
"Did you make tea yesterday? And put sleeping drugs in it?" Luna was the last person I trusted. I remembered Levi dated her, and I saw her cheating on him with a guy from another pack, and slowly she was gaining power within our family pack, which, by the way, she was adopted into. The last straw was when I heard her spreading a rumor about Levi to make people disrespect him, and then afterwards when someone refused to believe her, they were never seen again. I'll never trust her cute face, ever.
Diane shook her head slowly, "I don't even know how to make tea." Levi looked confused, on cue Luna walked into the kitchen. My anger, no - fury, exploded. "Dean -" I cut her off when I whipped around and punched her so hard she flew backwards into the wall with a painful snapping sound. I lifted her by the front of her shirt, her head lolled but I knew she was conscious as I threw her onto the counter. Levi was up, but I ignored him as I pressed my forearm against her throat.
"Where is Sandra?" I growled, Luna was gagging from surprise, and pain. She didn't answer. I pressed harder, "You can't prove anything!" Luna choked. Lacing my fingers through her hair, I dragged her down the hall to where she slept. I dug around, searching for a pistol. Luna watched in horror as I pulled out a gleaming gun, with the muzzle coated in blood, that looked bright as light refracted off of it. Everyone smelled Sandra's blood on it. Levi's eyes hardened, so did Diane's, we all stared at Luna.
Levi and I both took one step towards her, and she threw up her hands. "I don't know! I don't know! I just delivered her!" She shouted, but that wasn't enough. My vision was nearly tinted red as I slammed her against the wall, lifting her by the throat, she pawed weakly at my arm but she wasn't strong enough. No one made any moves to stop me. As I leaned in, I pressed harder, and harder. She couldn't breathe, her face was turning red.
"I swear to god if Sandra dies, I will kill you myself." I threatened, and I let go. She took a big gasp of air, Levi looked at me, his green eyes liquified with pure rage, I was sure mine were the same. Diane took a step forward, "I'll watch her." She said, her voice held every threat in the world, and I knew Luna was going to be tortured until I got Sandra back, dead or alive. And I didn't care. Suddenly a wave of huge pain rolled through me, nearly knocking me over, but it wasn't my pain. It was Sandra's. I doubled over, coughing. I was surprised to see I coughed out blood, was our attachment that strong? Levi looked at me in concern, "It was Sandra's pain." That made him more made as he looked at Luna. "She will pay for this, but I'll let Sandra decide what'll happen. Because we will find her alive. If we don't, Luna is going to pay dearly for it, as will Trent." Levi growled, running out to issue orders.
*a week later*
We were on the road. Using the ability to find her, we were going. But something strange was happening to me, every time I slept. I had a dream Sandra, she would talk to me, and roll her eyes just like the real Sandra. Every night I had those dreams. Tonight was no different.
The car bumped along the road, and my eyes slowly shut, and I fell asleep.
I sat in the kitchen alone, and heard footsteps. Sandra, she always stomped down the stairs as if constantly angry. When she walked into the kitchen, she gave me a small smile. Her golden brown hair was pushed back, her side bangs scattered, she wore jeans that clung to her, and a baggy red tee. Before she grabbed breakfast she did a double take.
Silently, she grabbed a chair, pulling it in front of me, and sitting on it backwards, her arms slung across the top. "What's wrong?" She asked, her voice steely with a dash of concern. "Well this'll sound weird, but in reality, you've been captured by really evil people, and you're probably being tortured, and I really want to save you but I don't know how." I admitted, not knowing why Dream Sandra would even understand, but her posture went to her signature sass, with her slightly puckered lips. "Please Dean, if I did need to be saved, I know you'd do it right." She retorted, rolling her eyes. Then she noticed my actual concern, and leaned in. "Dean," her were serious, "you want to know how to save me?" She asked, I nodded desperately.
"Remember where you and Trent used to play as boys, obviously he'd take me there just to strike home with you, and him. He'd want to be there too, because he's never let go of the past. If he's torturing me, he'd take me there, right where home was, and always will be for him." Dream Sandra explained, my eyes widened in realization, she was so right! How could I have not seen it before? Trent and I hung out when we were younger, I was never really nice to him, but he became obsessed with me, and I had to draw the line. Of course that's where he'd go, and I know just out to get there. Dream Sandra smiled at me as she read the realization on my face.
"See you soon." She said.
My eyes snapped open, "Pull over, I'm driving."
