When I woke up, Kade was staring at me, Dean was staring at Kade. We were all staring at each other. "What the hell?" Never has Kade sounded so pissed. "Well Kade, meet my boyfriend." I lied, sitting up, and running a hand through my hair. "What is this Sandra, another stupid rebellious act of yours?" His grip was deathly tight on the door knob. Part of me thought he'd rip it off the door and pummel me to death with it. "No, this is my boyfriend. Besides, it's not like we did anything. We're both fully clothed." I lied easily. Dean easily went with the act, he draped his arm over my shoulders. "I apologize. Yesterday Sandra called me over, I didn't think I'd end up sleeping here." His voice was rugged with sleep, and it sounded like a lie I hoped Kade wouldn't notice.

Kade went red with fury. Stepping forward to beat the crap out of Dean, so I got up, his arm sliding off of me, and I stared at him down easily. "I haven't told mom about you and you're little friend Jennifer." My voice was perfectly framed, and Kade's eyes widened slightly, "How did you know about us?" he demanded. I grinned, "I didn't, now I do though. So I suggest you keep this little altercation between us three, or else I'll tell mom about Jennifer." I blackmailed, Kade took a slight step back, but he didn't look properly threatened but I didn't know what else to say. "I'll also tell her about you not actually having a job yet." Kade's eyes widened significantly. "I'll break your phone." He threatened, I snorted, "Please, you know I have at least three others. Now get out of here." I snapped. "I'll get you back for this." He growled as he exited the room.

"Whatever." I teased. He stiffened completely. "I know more than you could ever think Kade, so before you think about getting revenge, I suggest you really consider what you're risking." My tone was low in threat, I hoped he wouldn't call my bluff, Kade did the smart thing. He got in his car, and left. Turning to Dean, he looked indifferent mostly, there was some surprise. "Isn't he your brother? How can you two be so cruel to each other?" He asked, getting up. "Biologically, he's my brother, emotionally, he's just some guy. It's family politics." I explained, stepping out of the room.

Dean made my heart jump out of my chest, when his arms slithered around my waist, and his lips brushed against my ear. "Guess we're dating now." He whispered playfully. "Get off of me, and behave like a good little puppy." I snapped, he laughed, and I glowered at him. "Go make yourself something in the kitchen, I'm going to take a shower." I said, walking to my room. "Sure thing kitten." He said, stepping into the hall. I turned, "Excuse me?" I asked slowly, the venom in my voice could probably kill the largest of animals, he just smiled infuriatingly, "Well if you get to call me a puppy, surely I get to call you a kitten?" He asked, cocking his head to the side playfully. "Well it makes sense, considering cats do hate dogs." I replied gloweringly. Dean threw his head back in cheery laughter, and started walking down the stairs.

Sighing, I grabbed some clothes, and stepped into the shower. Once I changed, I blow dried my hair, and walked down stairs, there was a plate of delicious looking breakfast, with a note written on it. In scraggily handwriting, it read, 'Thanks for every thing -Dean.'

My hands shook as I crumpled up the paper. "Stupid nickname," I snapped, before I could throw it away, I saw writing on the back. Unable to help my self, I read it. It had his number, and basically it said to call if I needed help because he owed me. Slowly, I slipped the note into my pocket, sighing. Sitting down and eating, I stared blankly at the table.

I'd just lost the opportunity to make a good friend.

Or so I thought.
