Why Can't We Be More

They're All Gone

Previously: The bell rings and so starts our wild ride of high school

The day was good, second period me and the other air benders did training, third we had math, fourth period was art, fifth was lunch and Sokka ate a lot, sixth period was history, seventh was science, and last but not least last period which i am in right now which is P.E. Which is fun

We are in the gym playing kick ball when we get an announcement on the P.A.

"Avatar Aang to the office please" The office lady says and I blush I hate when people call me the Avatar

I gave the ball to Sokka since I was the pitcher. I walk to the office confused why I am being called. The principle is waiting at the door and shakes my hand

"Hello Avatar" He says "Your father is inside there is something we would like to discuss" I look at him confused and sit in a chair in the office

"Um not to be rood or anything but what am I doing here" I say confused

"Nothing wrong it is about your duties as the Avatara" he says and I stare at him blankly "We need toy to travel to the earth kingdom and the northern water tribe to master your elements"

I scream "What no I don't want to go I have a life here with my friends and the people I love"

"I know Aang but you need to learn theses as soon as possible we are thinking that Firelord Ozai, your friend Prince Zuko and Princess Azulas father, is planing a uprising and wants to rule the world" He says

"Ozai would never do that" I say in disbelief

"Aang I want you to be real calm when I say this because it might set off your Avatar State" dad says I nod "Ozai's men have captured and murdered many Airbenders at the air temples and some Air benders in Republic City go missing everyday" (A/N: that's where they live its an AU so it has always existed) "We don't think Zuko and Azula knows what his father is doing since they lives here with Iroh"

I am so angry, I notice my tattoo start to glow, my dad looks horrified and grabs the P.A. "Katara to the principles Office NOW ITS URGENT"  I start to raise in the air and Katara runs in and sees me and grabs my hand. I look at her and I start to leave the Avatar State and drop to my knees and cry and she holds me

she pets my hair and kisses my head "It's ok Im here" I hear my dad and the principle talking

"Is that his...?" He asks and my dad shakes his head no

"There all gone" I cry into her shoulder

"Who is" She looks at me

"The Airbenders, Ozai killed them" I feel her tense up

"Wait Ozai, as in Zukos father" I nod into her neck "No how could her" She says shocked "Does Zuko know"

"We're not sure" I say and sniffle "Can you ask him to dome to the office and the Principle does that

"Umm Hello" Zuko says with a small smile and notices all of our sad faces

I don't know why when I saw him all I saw was fire, the fire that burnt my people. I run at him and throw him up against a wall and scream at him "DID YOU KNOW"

"Do I know what" He says with wide eyes

"DID YOU KNOW THAT YOUR HORRIBLE FATHER MURDERED AND CAPTURED MOST OF MY PEOPLE" I push him deeper into the wall

"WHAT NO MY FATHER DID NOT DO SUCH A THING HOW DARE YOU ACCUSE HIM OF THAT." Zuko Screams in my face

"Im sorry son but its true, an air bender escaped from a fire navy raid and was a whistleblower. Your father is trying to rule everything" My dad says sadly
