Chapter 12

After I gave Mia to Winter, me and Ross went into the bedroom sat down on the bed.

"A night to ourselves" Ross said hugging me

"This doesn't fell right" I said

"Why?" he asked

"I don't know" I said

"Its okay, it fells off too" he said kissing my cheek.

"What are we doing if the world gets back to normal?" I asked

"Well, I will go to work, once she goes to school, you have nothing to do unless you want to go to work too" he said

"What about school?" I asked

"Babe, I don't remember what grade I was in" he said

"What about when she's still young?" I asked

"We will take care of her until I get a job" he said

"Where will we live?" I asked him

That's the only thing he didn't answer to

"What about food? Money?" I asked

I got up and looked out the window. Looking up at the moon clamed me down a little, but seeing zombies from far away, made me want to end life.

"I know its hard, I knew it wasn't going to be easy. Taking care of a kid is like buying candy from a furniture store." he said

I sighed

"We'll be okay" he said

"I wish I can believe that" I said

"Honey, we well" he said sitting behide me and wrapping his arms around me "I love you"

"I love you too" I said

He kissed my cheek "I love you more"

We spent the night looking at each other and kissing. I really wish Cher was here to see Mia grow and become a beautiful young girl and have a family of her own. I'm not sure if she can have a family of her own, I don't even know if the world will go back to how it used to be. That's one thing I want to change: My life.

I felt the sun on my face and warm arms around me. I opened my eyes and looked around. I'm in a different house, I sit up and look out the window, cars driving by, kids running, green grass, water on, it was beautiful. I heard little footsteps running down the hallway, soon a little girl comes in the room, smiling.

"Mommy! Daddy!" she said

"what sweetie?" I heard Ross say sitting up

" Its my birthday!" she said jumping on Ross

"It is?" he asked like he didn't know. He put his arms around her

"Yes!" he said

"How old are you going to be?" he asked again like he didn't know

"Seven" she said

"Happy birthday Mia" Ross said kissing her on her forehead "Babe, you okay?"

"Yeah" I hear myself say

"Sweetie, go get dressed so that you can open your gifts" he said to Mia "What's wrong?"

I sighed and looked down, seeing a ring on my finger. I look at his hand and see one two

"You like it?" he asked grabbing my hand

"Love it" I say

I realize that I'm out of body, standing in the counter of the room, seeing me from a different side.

"You hurt?" he asked putting his hand on my stomach

"Yeah, but its worth it" I say

"Yep" he said and kissed my forehead

My stomach wasn't that huge, looked like how I look now

"When can we tell her?" he asked

"Tell her what?" I asked

"That's she's going to have a brother or sister" he said smiling "I love the sound of that"

"Me too," I said "When the time is right"

"I'm counting down the days" he said. He kissed me then got up and left

I opened my eyes. Nothing changed, still in the same bed, Ross' arms around me, the sun is shining on my face. I sat up. Everything's okay. I felt Ross move and he sat up.

"Hey" he said kissing my cheek

"Hi" I said

"What's wrong?" he asked

"I had a dream that it was Mia's seventh birthday, the world was back to normal and I was pregnant" I said

His eyes went wide "And we were married?"

"Yeah"

"I had the same dream" he said "I was outside of my body, and I turn to my right, and I saw you"

"Is it going to happen?"

"Don't know"
