A Helping Hand: a sonadow fanfic

Shadow's Competition

After a while Shadow gets antsy and turns over feeling uncomfortable on his left side

He stares at the back of Sonic's head with droopy yet awake eyes

He sighs and closes his eyes for a few minutes and then gets completely knocked out

(8AM)

Shadow slowly opens his eyes expecting the morning sun but instead seeing the blue hedgehogs face inches away from his own

His eyes dart open and his face starts to heat up wondering what he should do

[Shadow's Thoughts]
Shit okay what the fuck do I do, I could close my eyes and attempt to go back to sleep, fake sleep and let him deal with this, or I could act on impulse and irrationally push him into the wall and accuse him of preposterous things, but which one is the easiest...

Shadow thinks for a minute while staring at Sonic

[Shadow's Thoughts]
I don't want to appear weak though... if I sleep too much then he'll think I'm exhausted, and if I act irrationally then I'll appear mentally weak as far as my patience and tolerance of emotions... fuck... I need to make some sort of power move

Shadow closes his eyes and takes a breath mentally prepping himself then softly throws his arm over Sonic's waist which makes Sonic jump

His eyes open and he lifts his head up to look around

He realizes he turned over in his sleep towards Shadow

[Sonic]
Ah, I must've turned over in my sleep, well while I'm here might as well make the most of it and avoid responsibility

Sonic tucks his head into Shadows chest fur

Shadow's eyes shoot open and he begins to sweat profusely as his entire body heats up more

[Shadow's Thoughts]
DID THIS MOTHER FUCKER JUST TUCK HIS RAUNCHY QUILLS INTO MY CLEAN MAINTAINED CHEST FUR? AND IS HE REALLY TRYING TO PIN THIS ON ME? THIS ASSHOLE, *internal inhale* you know what, I'm gonna make him as uncomfortable as possible

Shadow moves his hand up Sonic's white T shirt and to his chest

[Sonic]
U-Uh Shadow? Shads?

Sonic lifts his head up and grabs Shadow's arm softly shaking it

Shadow groans pretending to still be asleep

He nuzzles his head under Sonic's now that he moved and then slides his hand around to Sonic's back pulling him closer

[Sonic]
SH-SHADS?!

[Shadow's Thoughts]
hahahahahaha, AHAHAHAHAAA, HAHAHAHAH, okay I should stop now

Shadow groans and backs his head up removing his hand and flipping over

After a few minutes he stretches and yawns opening his eyes acting as if just then he woke up
