Malik
"Where Deonte at Draco? I think he ready." I asked as I counted the money that was laid on my desk.
Draco, Ace, and Leon stood in my office ready to get down to business.
"Ion know bruh. He still a kid to me fam." Draco said referring to his younger brother.
He had been a lil corner boy for me for a few years now and he always remained loyal. I think it's time for a promotion.
"That boy ain't no kid no more. Hell, I started pushing shit foreal at 19." Ace chuckled as he took a swing from his blunt.
I counted a lil over 30k and put it into a suitcase and handed it to Ace.
"Yeah, I'm in need of a another shooter anyways. I know Deonte know how to use a gun. This ain't his first rodeo." I laughed to myself. Deonte was constantly in and out of trouble. If it wasn't for Draco ass, he'd be locked up or dead by now.
Draco sighed to himself and rubbed his neck. "Alright, I'll talk to him. You know that lil nigga trigger finger itching anyways." He chuckled.
I smirked in response. "Good cause his first job is on Saturday. Leon you'll be there to assist him just in case things go left." I nodded in Leon's direction.
His scary ass barely said a word since he got here. I think he scared ima whoop his ass for how he was acting around Fayth at my mamas cookout.
He lucky I didn't drop his stupid ass.
"Who we supposed to be hitting?" He asked.
"Them niggas on the East side. They screwed me over on my money. I'm 15k short and I don't play about my money." I gave him a hard look so he would understand how serious this was.
"Draco and Ace ima just need y'all to patrol the area. Make sure everything go smoothly, aight?" They nodded and I dismissed them for the day.
Once they had all left I picked up my phone to call Fayth. I had a lil setup planned for us. I was trying my best to get on good terms with her.
"Hello," her soft voice rang through the phone.
"I was just calling to tell you to be ready by seven."
"You could've just sent me a text, Malik." I could hear her rolling her eyes through the phone.
"I wanted to hear your voice, girl." I chuckled lowly.
"Boy shut up, you just tryna flirt. I'll be ready." I heard her giggle before the line went dead.
I laughed to myself as I grabbed my keys and exited my office. I returned to the upper level of my club that was just now starting to get busy.
There were people at the bar and some on the dance floor. It wasn't too hectic yet. Plus, running this club was easy for me and it brought me extra cash. The hardest part was trying to stay on the down low with all the illegal shit I was involved in. It wasn't easy being this far gone into the streets.
