Warning warning warning.

This is going to be a sad one.

It was a cold and snowy winter day. Just an ordinary day, really. Well, for everyone but a young man named Sosuke. The bitter cold bite his whole body as he stood in front of a tomb stone in a full suit.

It had been three years since his s/o had passed away. Brain cancer. It started as a benign spot in the temporal lobe, but as it grew, it became fatal. There was nothing they could do for them.

Sosuke never even saw it coming. They were fine one day, and the next he could barely the notice the person laying in front of him.

He remembered that day clearly. They woke up with a major headache, but they both brushed it off. His s/o got them all the time. When Sosuke came home from picking up supplies, he found them on the floor passed out. He rushed to call the hospital, but he knew it was too late. Their pulse was weak, and they could barely keep their eyes open. He sat with them petting their until there was no more movement coming from them. Paramedics came minutes later to take them away.

Now standing at their grave, their favorite flowers in his hands, the memories flooded him. He tried to keep his composure but failed. Tears streamed down his face.

"I've giving up swimming if you were wondering. My shoulder got too bad to keep on. I don't know if I plan to keep training or just give up. I mean, i had a good run, yeah?" He smiled a little. He went on talking about his life and what they had missed after they passed. "One thing you'll be happy about though. Haru and I are finally on good terms. You always nagged me about that. I guess you finally got your wish." Tears flooded his eyes.

Before he was about to leave, he swiped some of the snow from the top of the head stone, and leaned down to place the flowers. As he was about to stand up, a pile of snow fell from a branch above the tree. He looked up, and smiled only slightly. "You got me again, huh?" He mumbled.
