Rei wasn't going to sleep any time soon, he wanted to, but he can't. Not with the loud noise coming from the next door apartment room.

He was sure that the apartment room next door wasn't holding any party, he knew that it was a single person living there and he knew that she wasn't a party-goer. Especially the loud music that she plays is some sad songs that will transition of pumped up songs from [favorite band]

He met the next door girl when he went to grab the newspaper by his door mat, the girl said good morning while he waved back, not even properly addressing her since he can't even see her. He went back to his room and slumped to his couch that day.

Now he sort of regrets not asking her name so he can complain further. He has a final exam for his major tomorrow and even if he did study, if he couldn't sleep, what else is to be expected?

He grabbed his glasses by the bedside table and marched outside to confront the girl.
Three knocks on the door.

The door swung and a girl revealing her sad expression came in, “Good evening, I'm sorry I kept you up I know you are here to complain about my music but please spare with me I am going to move out tomorrow and this will be my last night of playing my songs on the speaker,” She said before he could say anything rather depressingly. And he wasn't going to pay mind to the thought that she looks incredibly gorgeous.

“Uh, moving out?” He asked “Yes, well. You see, my parents and I had a huge fight and they didn't paid my bills. I had to go and work at the near coffee shop for sustaining my bills and food but I still haven't got my salary yet and now well–um yeah. I'm going to sleep at the coffee shop tonight,” She replied.

He immediately felt bad, “Why don't you stay at my room? We could share the room and split the rent,” what. the
fuck. am. i. just. saying. Rei wanted to slap his face for saying that, there is no way he can control his hormones with a girl around!

“But I wouldn't want to be a bother—”
“Nonsense! You could stay there! Beautiful people deserve a roof over their heads!” He said before he could process anything, “Well, I think you are rather handsome too Mr. Rei Ryugazaki,” She giggled which he was surprised to, “You know my name?”
“Yeah, you're in my Biology class. Tomorrow we have a major exam right?” She replied
“You know what? Let's just hurry up and move your items to my room,”
