Chapter 5 But why don't we get married?

In loid's car
I-im sorry I said I was your husband. Loid apologized.
Oh, I guess it's all right. Akari said with a nervous smile.
I'm not sure what to tell your brother if he hears of this. Loid said, making Akari look over at Loid.
Um Loid... I have a suggestion. Akari said with a blush on her face. Loid looked at her then gasped looking over and seeing a car coming and hitting the side of the car. Star rammed into the window.
Remnants of the smuggling ring. Hang on, Akari! Loid said, making Akari hold onto the seat belt as he hit the other car.
Huh? Akari shouted. Loid then went into a split lane separating them from their pursuer.
How did they know where I was? Did they... leave a tracking device in the art pieces? You've definitely let you guard down, twilight. Loid said in his mind as he kept driving. Akari held to the seat for dear life.
Who are those people? Akari asked angrily.
Um, uh... it appears some of my patients still haven't recovered from their psychotic episodes.
HE REALLY EXPECTS ME TO BELIEVE HIM! Being a doctor must be very taxing. Akari said as she made her attitude disappear.
She actually believed it! In the meantime... we're making a break for it. Loid said as he pulled into an abandoned factory. He and Akari then got out of the van and hid somewhere.  The people who were chasing them had ran by as Loid picked up a crate hitting them both in the head. While Akari acted fake surprised. Loid then took a pipe off the wall.
Akari, this way. Hurry! Loid said as he started running and star followed behind him.
Um... are you sure it's all right for you to hit your "patients" like that? Akari asked, wondering if he was just going to give up on the lie.
Um,well... the concussive recovery method is the latest modern medical practices.
"This is fiction."
Right. Akari said, dragging the word out.
I can't tell if she's actually bright or dumb. Loid said In his mind as he looked back at her while they ran. He noticed another guy turned the corner behind them with a gun. He stepped back, going in front of Akari.
Look out, Akari! Loid said, throwing the pipe at the man knocking him out. Another one jumped from above them aiming his knife toward Loid.
Another one! I can't dodge it! Loid said in his mind, staring at the guy as he fell. Akari jumped and kicked the guy away as she landed gracefully on one foot as her leg was still raised. The man she kicked rolled away hitting the wall knocked out. Loid stared with shock at what just happened. Akari realized what she did and started blushing.
Oh, no! I'm so sorry an amuteur like me helped with the recovery!. Akari said in a robotic tone as she lied. I happen to be an expert in self-defense. My brother was kind enough to teach me. She said as she covered her mouth in shock. Loid turned  to her as he laughed then looked at her with a smile.
Thank you, Akari. Loid said making her blush grow bigger.
Yeah don't think I'll do it again! Akari said trying to cover up that she was embarrassed. Loid laughed again standing up.
No need to be embarrassed. That was quite impressive. Did you see how far he went? Loid said, making Akari flinch then smirked in triumph.
Ha. I did send him flying didn't I! Akari said, giggling.
Some more men showed up he then started firing his gun. Loid grabbed Akari by the hand and waist pulling her to cover.
This way! He said taking her up the stairs. They ran into more people on there way taking them out. They then continued running. While running Akari stared at Loid as she had some time to think about asking him his fight style is so similar to twilight's he also looks like him as well. He smiles and uses more of his charm though. I guess only one way to find out.
Um, Loid... this may not be the best moment to ask. But why don't we get married twilight? Akari asked, making Loid freeze Falling to the ground making Akari stop.
I'm sorry?! Loid asked, sitting up and looking at her.
That is you right? Also Don't get the wrong idea! Anyways, it would extend our agreement... Akari started playing with her fingers out of being nervous. I mean... apparently, I'm considered suspicious just for being single, so it'd be nice camouflage...for me to continue my job as a thief, too. Akari's face turned more red as she turned her head away from Loid not making eye contact. Um, basically. If it's all right with you, maybe we could just stay together. And not just for the interview... Akari finally looked at him making eye contact. for both our sakes. He's probably the only person who could accept me for who I am right now; he's already proven he can handle my random burst of anger and attitude. I have yet to meet a man who hadn't gotten sick of the way I act. 
So who are you exactly? Loid asked staring you at Akari. She blushed more using her coat it cover half her face while putting her brown hair into a ponytail.
Look familiar now twilight? Akari asked making loids eyes widen in shock.

Heh yeah... akari played with her fingers not meeting Loid's eye contact. Loid looked at her then closed his eyes standing up.
Then let's stop by city hall on our way back to fill out the paperwork. Loid said as he stood up fully looking at her.
Huh? Like right now?! You actually agree to marry me! Akari asked in shock.
They do say no time like the present. Oh, that's right. And you'll just make my job on capturing you easy. Since when it's over I'll just turn you in and lock you up. Loid said, making Akari wonder what he was looking for as he reached into pocket.
Who says I'm going to let you catch me. Akari spoke as Loid felt a hole in his pocket where he had the ring. Where did I drop it? Loid asked in his mind as he looked over from where they just ran from.
You bastard! Loid grabbed Akari by the shoulders pulling her to cover as the men shot at them. Before going next to Akari Loid grabed the bomb that was next to the men.
Fill em full of lead! The man shouted as they shot them.
Akari...Loid pulled the bomb ring. Even in sickness,or in sadness... Loid threw the bomb to the men that were shooting at them. No matter what hardships await us. Loid placed the bomb ring on her ring finger

then grabbed her hands as they stared at each other. Akari's face was super red as she stared in awe. The bomb went of making there hair flow around.
Let us be there for one another. Loid finished making Akari slowly nod her head as her eyes shimmered.
Yeah all right. Akari said softly Loid smiled at her.
