Akari walked up the steps of the train station rubbing her shoulder in exhaustion.
Man today was terribly annoying. How could they thought they saw my name. Freaking me out and wasting my time. Lucky I Decided to not use violence...well kinda but hey it was self defense. Still I was almost arrested, meaning not only would I be ruined as a wife, but it would've destroyed the forgers. Akari spoke as she held her purse strap staring at the ground disappointed in herself. She stopped walking seeing people infront of her about to cross the street. She didn't know Loid was coming up that same street.
Oh, hello, akari. He greeted catching her attention.
Oh, Loid.
What a coincidence. Why don't we go home together? Oh? There's something on your collar again, Akari. Loid spoke reaching out and grabing her collar and removing the listening device from her collar. Akari was about to shout at him but held her tounge. She turned and stared at the ground a shadow appears over her eyes.
I'm so sorry. Apparently, I'm such a failure as a wife that I can't even keep up proper appearances. Akari said making Loid surprised that she'd become this vulnerable.
Well, if you ask me, Akari. Perhaps many families throughout this world are somehow putting on an act, thinking "A wife should be like this," or "you're supposed to be the parent." Of course, I believe that working hard to be your best self is admirable. But if you dwell on that so much that you lose yourself. Things that should go well might fall apart. Many people suffering like that come to my hospital all the time. Putting on an act all the time can become tiring. Loid spoke then reached out grabing her hand. Akari flinched then stared at him. She knew he was talking about himself and being a spy. He's always putting on an act. But so was she and he understood that.
Loid... she softly spoke intertwining her fingers with his.
And that's why I want you to be as you are, Akari. The more confident you seem, the less people will suspect anything. And I'm sure Anya will be happier seeing you smile. Loid was about to walk but when he felt his arm get tugged he noticed akari hadn't started walking yet. He was about to ask what was wrong but was startled when she pulled him close to her, going on her tiptoes and kissing his cheek. Once she went back down on her feet she smiled at him.
Thank you very much, I... I'm truly grateful that I married you, Loid! Akari said with a blush on her face and a genuine smile.

Loid stared at her with a tiny blush on his face taken back by what she said

Akari clinged to his arm and they walked across the street.
Don't tell me you feel guilty for doubting her. Frank's voice echoed in loids mind. He crushed the listening device then threw it away. Akari leaned noticing.
What did you just throw away? Akari asked, snuggling more into loids arm.
Oh, just the lint I found on your collar earlier. More importantly, we didn't do anything to celebrate our one-year wedding anniversary. Why don't we buy some cake on our way home? Loid suggested making Akari beam in excitement.
That's a lovely idea! Akari said happily.
With Anya
She got off the school bus then walked home. She entered their home.
Papa, mama! I have returned! Anya said seeing her parents in the kitchen. Akari turned to Anya smiling while holding the cake.
Welcome home, Anya. She spoke while Loid turned to Anya, noticing her expression.
What's the matter? Loid asked. Anya stared at them reading their minds making sure they made up. When she heard what she wanted she smiled.
Papa and mama are getting along! If not even better than before! Anya beamed, making Akari and Loid stare at anya. They both glanced looking at each other finding it weird that she noticed but then smiled and looked back at Anya.
I told you that we were never fighting to begin with. Loid said, making Akari laugh a bit.
Anyways we have cake anya! Akari spoke, shaking the box softly.
I want some cake! Anya said, running up to Akari hugging her legs.
Hey, now you're going to bother the people downstairs. Loid warned as he ruffled Anya's hair.
