"2 days later at Berlint general hospital."
The psychiatry department at this hospital is my workplace. I've told them in advance that you're coming, but don't trouble anyone, all Right?
Yep. Anya and and Loid walked into the hospital.
It's huge! Anya said looking around.
This is the longest established hospital in the capital. It probably would've been easier to fake being a general practitioner, but many prominent names from the political and business world frequent this hospital. This lets me infiltrate their social circles and steal plent of information. Anya gasped at Loid thoughts then started writing in her note book. He noticed this feeling confused.
I haven't said anything you'd need to take notes about yet. By the way, why are you dressed like that? Loid asked refuting to her dective outfit.
This is classic investigation fashion. Anya explained.
I see. Loid said as they made there way to the locker room. Loid changed from his suit coat to his doctor coat.
Most psychiatrists don't wear lab coats, but this probably makes me look the part more. So, what are you investigating? Loid asked as they walked down the hallway. Anya had her magnifying glass pointed at the floor as she looked through it.
First, why did you choose this job? Anya asked not looking up from the magnifying glass.
Why I chose this job? Well, Let's see... everyone gets a cold sometimes, right? But it's not just the body. The mind can go through that, too. There are a lot of people who catch colds, but in their minds. Loid explained making Anya stop and look at him.
But second son told me I wouldn't catch a cold because I'm stupid.  Anya says with a small pupils.
I see... well, keep getting along with him. But anyway, I wanted to help people like that. There are still lots of veterans who are still suffering even years after the war ended.  Since Desmond is such a recluse, I figured that if I'm lucky, being a doctor might give me a chance to approach him if he ever got sick. I made up my mind when I was in college. Loid said as anya nodded while writing in her note book.
At the front reception desk.
Um, the next question is, "what's the atosphere like at your workplace?"
You mean "atmosphere." Loid corrected. A lady at the front desk turned and saw Loid and Anya.
Oh, dr. Forger. Is this your daughter? The lady asked while Anya stared at her.
These are my colleges. Say hello. Loid said as anya bowed.
It is a pweasure to meet your acquiantenace.
She's so cute!
You're doing your homework? What a good little girl!
Oh, her eyes are so big! She looks like a princess.
Have some snacks. The women said to Anya as she wrote in her note book.
"Papa's workplace is paradise."
Good for you.
What is papa like at work?
Oh, he does everything with such style. He's so careful and kind with the patients, too.
Your father's amazing, young lady. He became an important part of our team as soon as he transferred in. But despite that he's so down to earth and respected by everyone.
By the way, my neurologist friend was hoping you'd come to our next meeting, dr. Forger.
The director also wanted you to come golfing.
Anya turned her head to look at Loid.
Papa is popular? She asked making Loid hum.
Well... I make sure to be sociable. Okay, I'll talk the director... it's always good to spread out my connections. It makes it easier to obtain intel and more connections. And most importantly for a spy, it makes people think. "What? No way he's a spy!" It's crucial to completely embody how I want people to view this individual. I need to try not to stand out too much, but remain sociable. Anya read loids thoughts then started writing stuff in her note book.
"What? No way..." Anya wrote in her note book.
Why in the world do you keep taking notes at the most random times? Loid asked staring down at anya as she wrote.
"What is Hard about this job?"
That's a great question, young lady.
Let's see... I'd say it's the fact that we deal with peoples hearts, which we can't see. Doctors aren't wizards, after all. We can't read other people's minds.
Heh. Anya said chuckles wth a smug face.
Why do you so smug? Because we can't read minds, we have to throw away our preconceptions, and observe them assiduously and carefully. Just like a spy dealing with their target. The most important thing is to build trust with your patient.
The biggest difference would be the fact that 8! The end, spies betray that trust, and...
—Everything is very delicate and involves risks, so.
Mm.. snacks.. yum. Yum.
Ooh, would you like some more?
Want some juice?
Want to take a psychological test?
