Chapter 54 Let's Go On Official date!

A/N: sorry it took me so long to write this. I know I said I was gonna have it out before I started school but I had moved into  the dorms at my school then went to a kpop concert. Then school started then I got swooped up in that. But I hope you enjoy the chapter and I'll get the last one out as soon as possible! Enjoy the chapter!

Akari walked into her and loid's shared room. He had just left out for his "job". She was about to start cleaning up when she heard the phone ring and she walked out the room grabbing the phone.
"Hello Forger residents."
"There's a mission for you princess of the night."
Akari's eyes dulled as she heard the shopkeeper.
"What's the mission? And you better give me all the detels last time you sent me in i had to kill everyone cause i was spotted."
"Sorry that was our fault. They upped their security last minute. But this won't happen this time. We need you to steal this diamond heirloom. Apparently the person who took it was a lone shark but they need the diamond since it was promised to the eldest son of the family."
"I'll get it back should be easy enough."
"Perfect, it's in a museum pretty close to you, it shouldn't be too hard for you."
"Right it won't be i'll drop it off at the agency when i secure it."
Akari hung up the phone then went to get ready for the mission.

Once she checked to make sure she had all of her weapons she opened the window climbing out and jumping to the roof. Then made her way to the site where the mission took place. Akari dropped above the museum looking through the glass spotting the diamond on display.
Hm. He didn't say it was that big. I kinda thought it was smaller. Akari spoke to herself making a circle with her glass cutting tool. Then used a suction cup pulling the glass out quietly. She then tied a rope trying around her waist then lowering down to the ground. But before she landed she grabed a handful of revaler smoke blowing it out and seeing a bunch of red lines.
Woah they really don't want me to get this one. Hm. No matter I'll still get what I need and get out. Akari then looked around to see the secerity box. This could be either one that turns off all the secerty lines or just stop the alarm from sounding. She then grabed her kuknives throwing it at the box breaking it sending electricity shoot from the box the. Once the red lines disappeared she dropped down to the floor quitly. She walked over smirking grabing her glass cutting device placing it on the glass.
Hehe easy as cake. She then heard a gun click making her flinch.
Akari really? What are you doing here? Loid said, putting his gun down.
Whew. Don't do tha twilight I thought you were gaurd I almost killed you. Akari said placing her knife back in its pouch on her thigh. Anyways I'm here on a mission to retrieve this diamond. What are you doing here?! Who's watching Anya?
Franky is watching her, don't worry. I'm also on a mission. There's a peice of information here that I have to gather. I heard some noise and came to check it out. Then I saw you seem like you're getting sloppy. Loid smirked, walking up to  Akari and rolling her eyes.
Heh me sloppy your talking to the person you haven't been able to catch. Akari said in a smug tone as Loid stood right in front of her.
Well then how bout I change that. Loid said in a flirtatious Tone Making Akari blush a bit. She backed up into the glass feeling her device was done cutting the glass.
I guess I will just have to see won't we twilight. Akari sneakily grabed the diamond while using her other hand to cup loids cheek slowly leaning up to him acting as if she was gonna kiss his lips. Before she touched them she pushed Loid back harsly then running over to the rope she came on as Akari went to grab it Loid appeared infront of her throwing a punch but she bent backward sliding under him making Loid look down at her in shock while she smirked up at him. That whole scene seemed like it went in slow motion till she fully slid under his legs jumping up holding her fist up.
Awww twilight you're getting sluggish. You're usally faster than that. Have I made you grow soft? Akari asked, putting the diamond in a bag sliding it closed.
Hmph you could say that. Or maybe it was a distraction. He said pointing down at her feet. Then seeing a little smoke bomb and it went off making her cough and limiting her site.
Loid dashed at her as she coughed and wheezed. He threw punches at her but she dodged and blocked. Once the smoke cleared Akari got a good hit at loids face making him dazed for a second but he gained it back. Akari heard beeping noises making her notice that the backup security must be about to turn on.
Freeze! He shouted pointing his gun at Akari, making hold her hands up.
Sorry twilight but our time is up. Akari smirked running at Loid making him get ready to fight but Akari slid inbetween his legs grabing the rope hooking it onto her waist. And you didn't say for how long. You might wanna get out of here before you know you get caught. She tugged on the rope and it pulled her up. Loid didn't understand what she meant till he noticed the red lights coming on one by one making him jump and dodge the lights till he made it to the entrance of the exhibit.
Awww little twilight didn't catch the big bad Theif. Hm, maybe next time. See you at home sweetie. Akari waved at Loid as he shook his head playfully waving at her back. She then blew a kiss to him then dashed away. Akari dropped off the diamond at the shopkeeper's place then headed home. Once she made it back to the house she slipped through the window of their bedroom closing it.
Late night huh? Akari flinches at the voice.
Jeez twilight you can't scare me like that. You literally just saw me. I should be asking you the same question. Akari gestured to the bruise on his cheek. Loid placed his hand on his cheek. Akari sighed walking over, placing her hand on his cheek.
I'm sorry, I shouldn't have hit that hard. She said rubbing his face as Loid placed his hand over hers that was on his face.
Akari... I really do want to give us a try again. This isn't a honey trap or anything. I just really want the chance to love you again. Loid said, making Akari blush.
R-really?! Akari stuttered in disbelief.
Loid smiled, taking her hand and placing a kiss on it then staring into her eyes.
Yes, Akari. And this isn't part of my mission. I generally want to give us another shot. But before I advance I need to know are you still in love with me? Loid asked as his stomach filled with anxiety. What if she wasn't in love with him and she was just acting this way to keep his mission going. Akari smiled softly, feeling tears come to her eyes.
Yes twilight I'm still in love with you. I tried to stop loving you but I just couldn't. Breaking things off was the worst thing I could have done all those years ago. I'm even envious of the women who got to carry your kid... akari placed her hands on her stomach with a shadow casted over her eyes. If i hadn't messed up it would have been me being anya's mother. Then nightfall showed up and I almost lost it. How could you not want to be with her, she's beautiful,strong, a spy like you. All the things I'm not... I can't even cook you a decent meal when you come home from a long day. Why would you even love me? I don't get it. Akari placed her hands over her face as she started to cry. Loid stared at her then smiled, placing his hands on hers pulling them away from her face.
You wanna know why I fell in love with you all those years ago. It was because of how beautiful you looked, how you saw the world, how your eyes would light up at the thought of your brother succeeding in anything he put his mind to. The way you saw through me seeing that I was lonely even when meeting you was supposed to fill in the void in my heart. Your attitude some men might not want a strong woman who has anger issues but personally I like that side of you, while also seeing the soft person who cry's when she's sad. Those are all the things i love about you and everyday we spend together makes me find out more and more things about you i didn't know before. So i don't want you to compare yourself to nightfall anymore you are perfect to me. It was like you were made for me and just as if I was made for you. loid pushed her hair to the side while Akari stared at him with wide eyes and tears in her eyes.
Loid... she mumbled as the tears fell down her cheeks. He leaned in, kissing her on the lips pour all of his love into the kiss. He finally had her, the woman he longed for. Yes at first he only wanted her for his mission then once it was all over turning her into an agency to be locked away forever. But he wasn't expecting to fall for her all over again.
Akari could feel the passion in this kiss. This wasn't an act he really meant everything he said. She couldn't have felt happier as she melted into the kiss placing her hand on his cheek deeping the kiss.

Loid then pulled away kneeling on his knees hugging akari waist as he let out a deep breath. Akari slowly went on her knees hugging him.

Finally you're truly mine. Do you understand how hard I had to hold back so I wouldn't scare you? Loid asked, making Akari chuckle and pat his hair.
I couldn't even imagine the twilight having to hold back. Akari said while Loid blushed, hiding his face in her shirt.
I promise once I get all this war stuff settled I'm going to marry you foreal. And we can start our own family. Loid said, looking up at Akari as his blush grew bigger. Akari bit her lip seeing how adorable loid looked at that moment. She shoved her squeals down as she answered him with a closed eye smile.
I can't wait for that day to come loid. She said making Loid Smile and lay back on her stomach.
Aww you are so cute when you're all lovey dovey. Akari said, kissing Loid's hair.

I am not cute! loid said with a blush on his face sitting up with a glare. Akari smirked, lifting up his hair and kissing his forehead, leaving him shocked. She giggled at his face.
Yes you are. She smirked, making his blush.
Let's go on a real date! loid blurted out. It was Akari's turn to blush now.
Huh?! She squealed, making her face turn red.
Let's go on an official date. We haven't done one since we first met years ago. But this time this will be the official one. Loid explained making akari cough and put on a tough look looking away with her arms crossed.
I mean sure why not. Since you brought it up. She said trying to act tough but it failed as her mouth curled up into a smile. loid then pulled her face kissing her cheek making her squeal and blush harder.

Now who's cute now. You're all red. Loid smirked, making Akari look away.
S-shut up! She shouted angrily.
