Chapter 6

So Im running from my friends which only makes me doubt my own intelligence. I deserve to be crying. The reason why is because Caleb called me his friend but I want to be more than that.

I reach my dorm room. and close the door and couldn't help but think to myself they're going to come in, its their room too so I can't lock them out. So I just lay on my bed, under the blanket, tears pouring out of my eyes at the thought of what he said. Moments later, Sun Hi, Jodi and Caleb walk in and see me.

"Corki, you have to tell us what's wrong with you or we can't help fix it " Sun Hi and Jodi say simultaneously, as Caleb nods, Sun Hi And Jodi start nodding.

"Just leave me alone." I say strictly. "Fine" Sun Hi and Jodi say simultaneously as they grab their stuff and walk out of the room. Now it's just Caleb and I.

"Why are you crying?" Caleb asks. "If I'm not telling my best friends, why am I going to tell you?" I say. "Because it was after I said that's what friends are for that you ran away crying." He says to me. "You want to know why fine," I sorta yell at him.

"It's you" I finish. "What?" He says confused while sitting down.

"It's you. You called me your friend but I want to be more than that. You're irresistible to every girl and any girl who sees you. you're cute and sweet and you have your moments but you're smart enough. That's why I like you. That's why Sun Hi likes you " I say then cover my mouth after that last part.

"I'm sorry Corki, but umm I can't date you but, I would ... if I could" Caleb says happily. "Why can't you?" I ask. "Because I have girlfriend" He says truthfully as he makes his way to the door. "It's Jodi isn't it" I say with tears forming in my eyes. "It's actually supposed to be a secret," He says while turning around to see my tearing, sparkling eyes. "Yeah, it's Jodi." He says then walks out.
As he leaves I lay face down in my bed.
