Star Vs. The Forces of Evil: The Return of Toffee

The War Begins

   Butterfly Castle a few days later is packed to the brim. Almost every single noble family in Mewni is gathered to hear an impassioned speech from Queen Eclipsa. By her side are her husband King Globgor and their daughter, Meteora. In her speech, Eclispa decries and condemns the recent actions as of late by Toffee against Star Butterfly, Marco Diaz, and the Royal Butterfly Family. Highlighting especially Toffee's mobilization of the Septarian army, Eclispa announces a state of war now exists between the Kingdom of Mewni and the Septarians. This causes panicked whispers to occur throughout most of the royal audience in the room and continues as Eclipsa orders a general mobilization of Mewni's armed forces to fight Toffee and the Septarians. She also calls on Moon Butterfly to lead the Royal Army for the Battle, of which Moon Accepts.

Outside the Castle, the Royal Army of Mewni is gathered. It is a truly gigantic force, consisting of at least 110,000 Mewni soldiers. Of the 100,000, 10,000 are aerial and reconnaissance soldiers from the Pigeon Kingdom of Mewni, 10,000 are soldiers from the Cloud Kingdom of Mewni ( led by King Pony Head ), 10,000 are soldiers from the Johansen Kingdom, 10,000 are soldiers from the Kingdom of the Underworld ( led by King Dave Lucitor and Queen Wrathmelior Lucitor ), 5,000 are soldiers from the Waterfront Kingdom, 5,000 are soldiers from the Forest of Unlikely Spider Bites, 5,000 are soldiers from Garbage Beach, with the rest coming from and the lands around Butterfly Castle Itself - With the force from Butterfly Castle ( The core of the Royal Army of Mewni ) comprising of 10,000 regular soldiers led by King Globgor, 15,000 elite knights and Cavalry led by Queen Eclipsa, 5,000 Cavalry and War Eagles led by Rivers Butterfly, 17,000 elite knights and Cavalry along with some cannons led by Moon Butterfly along with Lady Whosits and Sir Scarsguard, and an additional 7,000 soldiers and cavalry as a reserve force.

Riding out in front of the massive army on a Warnicorn ( War Unicorn ) is an excited, confident, and battle ready Star Butterfly ( who is in royal Mewnian armor and is carrying the Royal Standard of House Butterfly in her left hand ). By her side is an equally excited and confident Marco Diaz ( who is also on a Warnicorn and is dressed in a general's suit ). The soldiers begin to cheer widley in excitement as Star and Marco appear and as Star gives an impassioned speech on how they will easily this battle, how they finally defeat the evil Toffee and his Septaraian army, and how they will save Mewni and guarantee Liberty, Freedom, Equality, Corn ( yes, Mewnian Corn ), and Justice for all! Just as Star is finished with her inspiring speech, she hears a stern voice ask her incredulously what is she doing? It's her Mother ( who is also in Royal Mewnian Armour and on a Warnicorn ).

A now slightly nervous Star tells her Mom she's rallying the troops before the battle and will be leading them. Her Mom lets her know she will not be leading the main part of the army and will be instead commanding the reserve force with Marco. Now annoyed, Star protests this, telling her Mom she's not a child anymore and she can be a leader. Trying to be a tad bit nicer, Star's Mom tries to reassure Star she knows she can lead but doesn't want anything bad to happen to her ( especially after the D.C. Protest Incident with Toffee ). Reluctantly, Star agrees and hands the Royal Standard to her Mother while Star joins Marco in leading the Reserve army.

With Moon Butterfly at the lead, the massive army advances forward in near perfect order and ready for battle. Seeing Star is still very much unhappy at leading just the "reserve" army, Marco tries to cheer her up, telling her he still believes she can lead the Royal army. Star feels slightly better after hearing this. Marco then reassures her confidently that Toffee doesn't stand a chance and after the battle they both eat all the nachos they want. With that, Star is once again excited and ready for battle. But neither herself nor Marco nor anyone else in the Royal Army know about the disaster that is about to occur.

A few miles east from Butterfly Castle and near the shores of the Mewni River, The Battle of the Mewni Hills occurs. For the Royal Mewni army, it is an unmitigated disaster! On the flat ground of a small canyon surrounded by large hills, the battle ignites! The Royal Mewni Army launches an all out frontal attack supported by some cannon fire against the 50,000 strong Septarian army and seems to push the Septarians back, unaware Toffee has set a trap.
