Star Vs. The Forces of Evil: The Return of Toffee

After a hours-long trek, Rasticore and Marco reach the outskirts of one of Toffee's main military bases - Base 1 - together with Buff Frog, Jackie, Tom, Ludo, Chloe, and Dennis.

The base is a massive dockyard located just parallel to the former magic sanctuary. It is a heavily guarded facility, with a garrison of at least several hundred septarian soldiers. At the harbor's entrance, groups of crocodiles swim near the dozens of septarian naval vessels guarding the waters.

Next to the main dock is what was the magic well. Now in ruins, The septarians monitor it like a hazardous waste site with septarian soldiers in hazmat suits looking for any pure magic to weaponize.

Rasticore silently points to a small boat at the far side of the harbor. Marco sees the boat in the distance and is taken a little back at its shape. The boat truly looks as if it's on its last legs and it would be a miracle if it reaches Base 2 at all. Trying to ignore the glaring problems with the boat, Marco and the group come up with a plan to sneak into the harbor and as fast as possible.

With the septarians still unaware of Rasticore's defection, he is able to serve as cover for the rest of the group. Darting behind crate after crate of cargo, Marco and the group sneak their way closer to the boat.

Looking briefly at one of the open cargo hangers, Marco notices to his horror that it has been converted into a small prison. The prisoners - the thousands of soldiers captured by the septarians at the battle of Mewni Hills and smaller subsequent battles.

Marco acts quickly, briefly leaving the group and evading the notice of a septarian soldier to help the prisoners. Most of the prisoners are asleep except for a young soldier from Butterfly Castle, looking sullenly at the ground.

Marco finds a pair of keys at the edge of the hanger and silently tosses them under the prison cell's bars. The young soldier, anxiously grabs the keys and looks up at Marco. The soldier smiles after recognizing Marco. Marco gives him a thumbs up and quietly tells him to open the cell at the first ray of sunlight tomorrow. The soldier nods in agreement. As fast as he came in, Marco then quickly exits the hanger and rejoins the group.

Refocusing on the task at hand, Marco and the group dart behind a few more crates before reaching the small boat. Using the boat's ripped up tarp as cover, the group gets inside the boat while Rasticore starts the engines.

The boat's engines sputter into life and the boat slips out of the harbor, heading straight for Base 2.

The next day at the camp of Star's army, chaos is in the air! As Janna is trying to watch Mariposa and Meteora, a large majority of the Mewman Generals meet on the outskirts of the camp.

The old tensions between Mewmans and Monsters are on full display at the meeting. Most of the generals vent their frustration at Star's inclusion of Monsters into the army and her plans to give Monsters equal rights. They secretly agree that if Star comes back, they will confront her and declare Moon to be the Queen!

Back at the base, Star is taken out of her cell by a couple of soldiers and brought to a plain room in the base with only two chairs and a large table inside with a security camera on the ceiling.

Brought to the room and handcuffed to the table, Star is forced to sit there alone until Toffee shows up a few minutes later. He's dressed in his classic well tailored suit and is carrying a large black briefcase. Toffee opens it and lays out it's contents on the table - A large tape recorder, a note pad with a pen, a taser, and photographs taken at a distance of Star and Marco rallying their army and using magic. It's clear to Star now what this is - an interrogation! Toffee is trying to break her!

Toffee coldly asks Star a barrage of questions such as where is her army stationed, how many soldiers are in her army, where is the royal standard, where is the crown, where is Marco, where is Ludo, where is Buff Frog, where is the wand, etc.

Star does her best to either not answer the questions or avoid telling Toffee the information he wants, knowing full well Toffee will know if she's blatantly lying. Despite trying to intimate Star, Star refuses to let Toffee break her and she remains defiant.

Toffee tries a different approach, openly trying to portray her cause as futile. He proceeds to mock her family, the Non-Septarian Monsters, Mewmans, and the Humans. Star begins to become extremely angry and tells Toffee multiple times to shut up.

Toffee doesn't let up. He then begins to mock Marco. At this, Star completely loses it. Mocking Marco is truly the last straw!

Star breaks free of her handcuffs, about to beat Toffee to a pulp. She is stopped with seconds to spare when Toffee lifts his wand and unleashes an energy blast from it. Star is pushed back into the seat! Two septarian soldiers come into the room and attach the handcuffs to her chair.

Despite all that, Star has not been broken. She gives Toffee an angry stare that lets him know he can never break her! Toffee calmly tries to resume the interrogation when Star turns the table and begins to ask Toffee a barrage of questions about what his full scheme really is!

Toffee gives a menacing smile in response. After a few second pause, believing that Star could not possibly escape the facility, Toffee elaborates on his full plans.

Toffee indifferently tells Star he himself did not come up with the plan. The plan was created by his deceased mentor - the infamous Seth of Septarsis. Flashbacks are then shown in the scene as Toffee elaborates on how Seth was the hero for the Septarians. The flashbacks show leading the septarians in battle, including Toffee in his late teens-early 20's, against Mewnian soldiers from Butterfly Castle and whole towns burning in Seth's wake. The flashback continues with Seth on his deathbed surrounded by his loyal supporters including Toffee, with Seth handing Toffee a paper copy of his plans and telling Toffee he is now his successor. At this moment, Toffee decides to preserve and continue Seth's legacy. But Toffee realizes he has to do it secretly. Toffee then is shown offering his assistance to the Monster noble Archduke Batwin. Batwin is shown to naively accept Toffee into the main monster army...unaware Toffee has no loyalty to him and will only use Batwin to further his own plans and those of his deceased mentor Seth. After that, the flashback ends.

Toffee continues on, elaborating that their goal was to conquer both Mewni and Earth and build a Multi-dimensional Septarian Empire. For a long time afterward, they thought the plan would remain just that...a plan. All that changed when she destroyed the magic sanctuary and combined the dimensions of Earth and Mewni with the portal...the same portal whose magic sparks brought him back to life.

Toffee tells a thoroughly speechless Star that she gave them a gift by destroying the magic sanctuary and combining Earth and Mewni together. Plus, they had something else they could exploit - the damage done to the town of Echo Creek by the destruction of the magic sanctuary. Using thousands upon thousands of fake Social media accounts, they were able to create the narrative to many on Earth that Mewmans were invaders, Mewmans and Monsters caused this disaster, The Mewmans and Monsters are a threat to Earth, and only the Septarians can save humanity. As for weaponry, The septarians used shell companies all over the world for the past three years to purchase everything from helicopters to long ranged missiles.

Toffee proceeds to take a little metal box out of his shirt pockets and places it at the center of the table. Once on the Table, the box projects a large hologram showing Planet Earth after being connected with Mewni ( with the connection point close to the California border ) and red arrows ( indicating military movement and missile strikes ) coming from Mewni and spreading all over Mewni itself and the rest of the globe. Gleefully and melancholy, Toffee tells a now terrified Star that in four days, the Septarians will march across the Mewni-Earth Border at Echo Creek and from there march across the globe. Toffee finishes by adding that from there, the Septarian Empire of their dreams will finally be established. An Empire for Septarians, by Septarians! Everyone else will simply serve the Septarians as slaves.

After ending his explanation, Toffee ends Star's interrogation. Star is taken back to her cell by the two septarian soldiers.
