We're still dancing. Flashing lights, loud soothing music, booming smiles from everyone, elated people around, that's what makes the Night.

And here we are, in the middle of the hall, dancing our night on.

Wala na akong mahihiling for this moment. Alam ko naman sa sarili ko na matagal ko na itong ginusto. Na makasama siya ng matagal. And this is what you call matagal. Kasi any moment, pwede siyang ipa-mention para ma-pull out sa kanyang mga schedules or biglaang guesting or taping or whatsoever.

But what really matters, and what really is important, na magkaharap kami ngayon, sumasayaw sa hall, with both wonderful smiles on our faces. Then a moment on, he started whispering.

"Via," mahina niyang sinabi.

"Bakit?"

"Kamusta, okay ka lang ba dito?" Tanong niya sounding concerned.

"Anong okay?" Tinignan ko ang kanyang mata. Those perfect shiny eyes of his.

"I mean, kung hindi ka naiilang sa atmosphere? Kung hindi ka nao-O.P?"

I smiled the swayed my head. "No, I don't. Masaya din pala silang kasama. No wonder na ang close niyong lahat. And isn't it great na kasama ako sa Squad? It's really flattering."

Then nung nagsalita siya, his tone shifted to a more serious one.

"I just don't want you to feel bad. Alam mo naman na ayokong nasasaktan ka, physically man o emotionally." Sabi niya. Straight into my eyes. Directly into me. That he meant it.

"Don't worry Darren. I'm fine. Really fine." I assured him. "And I'll prove you that your girlfriend can do better things than being scared to socialize."

In all goodness, bumalik na yung smile sa mukha niya. "I see you've changed your mind.."

"Oh yes I did." I said softly. "And it's for you."

And nalaman ko na that I hit it. The spot na alam ko na bibigay na siya. I saw him blush!!! Even those colorful lights can't hide that my boyfriend's blushing!

"Aww, you're blushing boyfie!" Asar ko.

Ngumiti pa siya ng mas malaki and well, he just did his killer smile but I fought the urge to yelp. And we ended up laughing. Laughing our heads off dahil sa mga pinaggagawa namin. Sooo childish of us. Yes, its childish.

Nung dumating na ang oras for our dinner, the Squad's back on the table, nice and complete. Tapos we took turns on the buffet table.

Since medyo madaming snacks na din ang nakain ko kanina, kaunti nalang ang kinuha ko. Some pasta, and that worth-drooling-for red velvet cupcake.

Kontento na ako sa kinakain ko. I settled down in my usual seat, which is beside Darlene and Andrea. You see, we're not these types of girls na ang clingy masyado sa boys. Hindi kami mga ganun. We can survive without snogging them every minute! In short, we're not boy-obsessed. Yes I do love Darren, but do you think hindi siya maiinis kung palaging may nakapulupot at nakabuntot sa kanya? Para namang walang bukas!

Masaya kaming nagsikain ng aming dinner habang nagkukwentuhan pa about our future plans. Kung anong gagawin namin after school, kung anong gusto naming business... Then I just felt lazy and drifted off the topic. Nawala na ako sa pinaguusapan nila nung mapansin ko na may text pala ako.
