Chapter 1: Their lives...

The story starts with a peaceful and blissful morning....A little boy was sleeping peacefully with a cute pout on his face, making him look more adorable...The boy's beautiful sleep was disturbed by the shining yellow rays of the sun, falling on his face...He made an irritated face and covered is face with the duvet...

Girl: Ashu... get up!!

The girl went close to him and sat beside him on the bed...She slowly removed the duvet from his face...She carresed his hair gently and said...

Girl: Ashu baby wake up!! It is 7:00 already...Your bus will arrive in 20 mins....

Ashu: Mom let me sleep...

Girl: No dear...Wake up fast...It is already 2 days you haven't gone to school due to your fever...

Ashu: Mom so let it be na today also... Let me sleep...

He said in a sleepy tone while changing his side...The girl stood up from the bed and said...

Girl: Ashu I want you down on the breakfast table in 10 mins....Or else you will not get ice-cream for this whole month...

Ashu woke up with a jerk...

Ashu: No...mom...I am getting ready but don't do this please...

He ran to the washroom with a towel...

The girl giggled...

Ashu's POV...

So, this is my mom...The great Avneet Kaur Nandra....She always blackmails me on the name of ice-cream....As she knows that it is my weakness....She irritates me sometimes due to her over care towards me...But she loves me more than anything... And I love her too...Lekin Ashu beta jaldi tayiyaar ho ja varna meri maa mein kab durga maa aa jaye pata nhi hai kisiko bhi....(But Ashu get ready soon or else when my om can turn into goddess Durga no one knows...)

Ashish Singh Nandra: Son of Avneet, lazy as well as naughty, her mom means his whole world to him...Loves his mom to the moon and back...A kid with lots of enthusiasm and cuteness...

Avu picked him up in her arms and kissed her forehead...

Avu: Ok, now have your breakfast quickly, your bus might reach here anytime....

He quickly had his breakfast and left for school whereas Avu left for her office...

A boy was lying down on bed staring at the ceiling...Maybe remembering something...Tears were rolling down from his eyes but he cared less to wipe them... Soon the alarm beeped... He looked at it and switched it off... He went towards the mirror, wiped his tears and smiled but a fake one...He stretched himself and went to the balcony...

Sid: A new day, with a new hope for all, but I don't know where to go, what to do?? Why you left me in this world alone?? What is my reason to live?? Just a promise that I gave you and a hope maybe that is also false now...It has been 7 years....I am all clueless and slowly getting hopeless...Will I be able to fulfill your promise??

He was speaking all this when he felt a hand on his shoulder....He knew who was it....

Boy: Dada...

(So, the boy is Sid and the another person is Abhi)
