Chapter 28: Embraced

She said making her way towards the hospital room in which Sid was there...Ashu followed her inside the room where he saw Siddharth sitting with the support of the headboard and starring at nothing particular...

Back to the story...

Ashu went towards him, Avneet got call so, she went out...Ashu just looked at him, remembering the moments he spent with him... Siddharth was his best friend, his teacher, his saviour and a father figure to Ashu not for much time but still that one month was a bliss...

Ashu: Sid sir...

He let out a mere whisper which gave peace to Siddharth, he was the only kid who had the power to calm him...
Sid looked at Ashu and stretched his arms...Ashu quickly hugged him through his neck...He hugged Sid very tightly...Sid was really very happy to see that though 3 years passed but Ashu still had the same affection towards him...

They broke the hug that's when Abhi barged in...

Abhi: Ashu...Go mumma is calling you...

Ashu nodded and went out....

Abhi: Voh doctor told that you can be discharged now after the final check up..So...

He said not making an eye contact...

Sid: Hmm...

He replied just looking away...

After few hrs...

Sidneet, Abhinavi, Ashu and Inayat all went to Nigam mansion as Vaishu suggested for a sleepover...At first Avu denied but Abhi told that it will divert Sid's mind, so she agreed...Today was the day when all were happy...Sid was happy to meet Ashu after a long time and vice-versa. Avneet was happy seeing SidAshu happy and Abhinavi were happy seeing all of them happy and when everyone is happy, Inayat is happy...

Currently all were sitting in the hall, thinking deeply what to do...

Avu: We can play truth and dare...

She chirped excitedly...

Sid: Excuse me miss, kids will also be involved...So, think and suggest...

He said in his cold tone which was quite normal for everyone by now.... Avu pouted grumpily and muttered.

Avu: Bipolar kahika...

Which was unfortunately heard by Sid as they were sitting adjacent to eachother...Sid looked at her with a what expression...To which she replied with a sheepish smile and got the response as an eye roll...

Abhi: Guys...What about movie....

Vaish: Sorry, mera iss field mein interest nhi hai, so I am out...( Sorry, I am not interested in this field..)

And finally now Inayat said...

Inu: Chachu hide & seek khele...

All looked at her with amusement... But one person supported him and that was non other than Ashu...

Ashu: Yess...Yess...she is right...

Avu looked at him shocked and kept her palm on his forehead...

Avu: Beta tu thik toh hai na...(Are you alright son??)

She said dramatically...

Vaish: Ashu is supporting Inayat, aaj sooraj kaha se nikla hai...(From where did sun rise today..)

All of them burst out laughing after this statement except Ashu...

Ashu: Kya hehehehe...She is like my chotu motu si sister...I can support her...

He said with a grumpy face...

Inu: You be quick...I no motu...You motu...

She said glaring at Ashu...

Abhi: Princess it is quiet not quick...

Inu: Yeshh yeshhh...that only...

She said clapping her hands...

After this they all played hide & seek and enjoyed their time... Amidst Sidneet were found fighting on useless topics and same goes with Inayat and Ashu, but all enjoyed the eve whole heartedly after the grief of 3 years...

At night...

Almost everyone slept by now...Sid, Abhi and Ashu were in Sid's room whereas Avneet, Inayat and Vaishu shared Abhinavi's room...Though Avu insisted to stay in guest room but Vaish wanted this arrangement to be followed...So, they slept like that...Sid was not feeling sleepy, so he went to the balcony...He sat there on a couch present there feeling the cold and gentle breeze...

The sky was filled with the glitter of stars which shimmered and even luminated the new moon night...
He was enjoying the nature, that is when he felt a hand on his shoulder... He looked at the direction of the hand and found Abhi standing there...Sid immediately looked away...Abhi sighed and sat on the couch kept next to the Sid's one...

Abhi: Naraz hai...(Are you upset with me...)

Sid: Umhmm...

He said still looking away...

Abhi: Sorry...Maaf kar de...(Forgive me..)

Sid didn't say anything...

Abhi: Please... Forgive your dada...

He said pleading...

Sid: I am not mad at you and haa sorry for raising hand at Inayat, I still hate myself for doing that...

He said finally looking at Abhi with guilt filled in his eyes...

Abhi just nodded...

Sid: I am sorry...I know I am a loser who simply lost everything but now you, Vaishu di and Inayat is all what I have...Just please don't go away from me... Please just don't leave me alone, just don't leave me alone... please...

He finally broke down, after saying all this, Abhi hugged him, understanding his situation and comforted him by providing his warm embrace...Sid just hid himself in Abhi's embrace seeking the comfort and forgetting all the worries for some moments...
