Chapter 39: Perplexed

He walked to the edge of a cliff...His knees felt weak and the body loosing it's control...He fall down on his knees and broke down...He wanted to erase all his grief today to be strong for tomorrow...He cried badly, his face was all tear stained and depicted his misery....

The next morning

Abhinavi were out on a vacation, as Siddharth himself suggested them... In past 10 years, they haven't enjoyed much as they never wanted to make him feel forsaken...And so, only Siddharth sent them for a vacation.. Abhi wasn't talking to Siddharth at all which pinched his heart but he thought if he will give him sometime then it would be easy for him to bring his support system back...

But seems like the fate was against him, when he needed them the most, Siddharth sent them away and the cherry on the cake was he promised them to take care of Inayat...

The dawn came with a beautiful new day...A new hope to join the shattering mirror...The hope to make a hopeless person soulful...

Siddharth was sleeping due to the fatigued, hectic and downcast yesterday...

Today the sun wasn't the culprit to bring him back from the dreams to harsh reality but it was someone else...

"Chachu..." He heard a sweet voice calling him...His eyes fluttered and a frown appeared on his face...

He slowly unbarred the bars of darkness and exposed his iris to receive light and his retina to form images...

(Ps: Lol..When I write a chapter, just after finishing a chapter😂😂)

As soon as he opened his eyes he witnessed his cutie pie sitting on his stomach misty-eyed...

He quickly sat straight and made her sit on his lap...

Sid: What happened baby??

He asked being concerned...

Inu: You..you..wele clying...

She said with tears brimming in her eyes... Siddharth frowned at her statement but soon realised what she was talking about...His face was all stained with tears as he cried last night...He quickly wiped his face with his arm and smiled...

Sid: No..baby..See I am not crying...

He said while smiling, a proper fake smile... Inayat observed him carefully and then smiled...She hugged him, snuggling into him and he wrapped his arm or you can say just his palm around her which completely hid her tiny figure...

Inu: Chachu school...

She said still being in his embrace... His eyes widened when realisation hit him...He has to get her ready today for her school, this thought created a turmoil inside him...

He didn't actually had any idea how to make her ready...He didn't even know how to make braids...He gulped, when an idea striked him...

The only person he could think for now was Avu...She was the only one who could help him in this as it was early morning and the maids weren't there...

He hesitantly dialled her number, his mind wasn't sure he should take her help or not but his heart was and he obeyed his heart this time...

Conversation...

Avu: Hello...

Avu chirped like a fresh little bird...

Sid: Um...hii... Avneet...

Siddharth spoke being not so sure of his actions...

Avu: Any problem sir...

She asked being formal...

Sid: Um..Avneet I need your help...

He said in a low voice...

Avu: ok...sir...I will be there at the office by 10 and then we can...

She was speaking but he intruped her...

Sid: I do not need help of an office employee...I want to seek help from... from my....friend...

He said with a lot of difficulty in acknowledging her as his friend... A lips curved up into a smile, thinking of the fact that atleast he considers her as a friend...

Avu: Ok...I will be there by 8:00 at your home..

She said trying to stay calm... Siddharth hmmed and disconnected the call...

With Avu:

She jumped in happiness.. Ashu was watching her being perplexed...

Ashu: Mumma...I think you have some side effects of your new office... Sometimes you are extremely happy and sometimes extremely sad...

He said raising his eyebrows... Avu giggled...

Avu: Arre.. vo I got a very good news today...

She said while hiding her blush...

Ashu: Hmm...vo toh I can see... Who will say you are my mumma when you are still a kid...

He said and facepalmed...

Avu: My drama king..

Avu laughed and hugged him, she kissed his forehead... Ashu giggled being happy...

Avu: I am sorry Siddharth...

She thought in her mind and embraced Ashu more protectively...
