Chapter 8: Changed Ashu

Recap:

They both were laughing and smiling...Ashu laughed on the lame jokes cracked by Sid and Sid was happy seeing Ashu happy...They were enjoying each other's company unaware of the storm approaching towards them...

Back to the story..

In midway a student informed Sid that principal wants to meet him...He left Ashu there and went to the principal's office...After few minutes Ashu saw Avu...He quickly ran to her and hugged her leg...Avu picked him in her arms and rubbed her nose with his...Ashu giggled...

Ashu: Mom where is Riya di?? How are you here today??

He asked out of curiosity...

Avu: Prince Riya di had some work so she will be out of station for a month...So, from now onwards you will come with me to my office...

Ashu: Mom...What I will do there??

He whined...

Avu: Huh??

Ashu: Mom you will get busy with your that black and white files and I will sit there doing nothing...

He said making a grumpy face...

Avu: But I can't leave you at home alone...

Ashu: No, you can, I am a big boy now...

Avu pinched his nose...

Avu: Ok my big boy now let's go...We will talk about this later...

Saying this she dropped the cute little argument...

At a distance Sid saw both of them having the conversation...And a flashback started playing in his mind..

Flashback

Sm1: Sid he is really cute na??

She said looking at a small baby...

Sid: Haa, aakhir mujh par jo gaya hai (Why not, after all he adopted my qualities??)

Sm1: Shut up bandar...Jab dekho tab bas khud ki taarif kar valo, self obsessed insaan...( You just know how to praise yourself...)

Sid made a angry pout and started tickling Sm1...Due to their laughs the baby woke up...Sm1 took the baby in her hands and started talking to him though he wasn't interested in her talks...

Sid: He is my prince you know...He isn't interested to talk to you...

Sm1: He isn't interested to talk to you...(mimicking him) Bakwaas karvalo bas... (You can only speak nonsense)

Sid: Haww!! Izzat he nhi hai meri kuch...(No respect for me...)

Sm1: Just shut up...

Sid went near her and took the baby from her hands and kissed his forehead...

Sid: My little munchkin....I love you alot...

Flashback ends...

Sid was smiling through teary eyes... He came out of the trance when he saw that Avu and Ashu left...

He also went to collect his stuff and leave for his home...

Rest of the day was normal for Sid and Avu but maybe not for Ashu...

After a week....

As usual the bright rays of the sun filled the sky...Avu got up and made breakfast and lunch for Ashu...She made him ready and herself got ready...She dropped Ashu to his school and went to her office...But today something was wrong with Ashu, he was dull and silent...Avu notices it but did not think it as a major issue...

In class...

Sid was teaching maths but Ashu was lost in his own thoughts...He noticed it...

Sid: Ashu..

No response...

Sid: Ashu

He said a bit loud....

No response...

Sid: Ashish

Ashu: huh??

Due to Sid's loud voice he came out of his thoughts...

Sid: Stand upand hands up...

Ashu: But Si...

Sid: Stand up Ashish....

Ashu stood and accepted the punishment...

Sid: Rules are always same for all...

After the class...

When Sid was leaving, he ordered Ashu to sit down...He saw the change in Ashu's behaviour and got a bit worried...Ashu did head down folding his hands, keeping them of the table and leaning his head on them...He cried silently....
