Finishing the 1984 school year was a doozy. Especially considering the new bonds that had been made. Nancy and Johnathan quickly became town news and the 'cutest couple' at Hawkins High, and Sam....well, she became the best third wheel around. At the construction and grand opening of Star Court Mall, many locally owned stores went out of business. But luckily, it also meant there were plenty of job openings. Sam hated her job at first. Working for a coffee shop wasn't the most fun she'd ever had. That is, until Scoops Ahoy opened across the way. The Henderson girl spent all her free time at the ice cream shop, hanging out with Robin Buckley and Steve Harrington. But now that Dustin was back, and things start to go haywire again, Sam walks right back into the mess of saving the world.
