In the middle of the night Sara smelled smoke and her eyes snapped open. "Guys get up, I smell smoke." Sara said and she nudged McKenzie with her tail.
"W-what?" McKenzie asked half asleep as the rest group started to slowly wake up.
"Smoke!" Sara repeatedly loudly which seemingly woke McKenzie and the rest of the group up fully.
"Sara lead the way to the source of the smoke." Willson said and Sara nodded and motioned for her friends to follow her.
At this point everyone has transformed. Nikki stretched out as she got to her feet, unlike the others she was transformed into a Ceratosaurus but was a dark shade of green with lighter green markings.
Caleb was a dark green and brown Einiosaurus with a tan underbelly and black stripes while Anna was a maroon red and grey Triceratops with a white underbelly.
Britney was a Olorotitan and was dark green with black markings and a white underbelly. Ashley however was a Shantungosaurus that was forest green with dark red markings running down her neck that ended just before her shoulders.
"Of course I'm the dinosaur that can't fight back." Ashley grumbled bad she looked herself over as they walked
"Actually you can, just not as well as say I or Anna can." Willson pointed out.
"Whatever." Ashley mumbled.
However that's when Sara halted.
There was a clearing in front of them and in said clearing was a wooden cabin.
"Well there's the source of the smoke." McKenzie said as she looked at the fire pit which still had smoke radiating off it.
"McKenzie go check out the cabin." Sara whispered.
"Why me?" McKenzie asked.
"Because your the most stealthiest of us all." Sara answered.
"Wouldn't Nikki be better for this?" McKenzie asked.
"I'm clumsy as fuck and you know that." Nikki said.
McKenzie sighed in defeat and started to walk towards the cabin.
She gulped as she lowered down to glance into one of the windows. From what she could see it was a small bedroom and inside a preteen girl was sleeping.
McKenzie sighed in relief and turned to continue inspecting the cabin however her claws accidentally scrapped against the wood.
McKenzie froze in place while her friends mouths dropped open while Britney, Nikki, and Anna looked away.
The Therizinosaurus stood in silence not even daring to move a muscle that wasn't responsible for breathing.
However after a while McKenzie breathed a sigh of relief that she didn't wake the owners of the cabin up and she continued her inspection.
However when she noticed another bedroom she noticed a man and a woman cuddling in a bed. "Okay did not need to see that." McKenzie mumbled to herself and shook her head to get rid of the image.
She then walked out to the front of the cabin to see the kitchen/dining area.
McKenzie began to walk away however she scooped up some snow and dumped it down on the fire pit to kill the smoke.
