Dino Jurassic Squad: Trespasser (completed)

The lake

When Owen's car approached the lake Claire's eyes widened as she watched a herd of four Apatosaurus grazing on a nearby pine tree.

Meanwhile a herd of three Stegosaurus lumbered out of the forest and approached the shore of the lake to drink.

A herd of nine Parasaurolophus were nearby. Grazing or watching out for predators.

However just then the ground shook as a Dreadnoughtus emerged from the forest.

"Is that Marisa?" Maisie asked as she looked at the titanic sauropod.

She read in one of her books that Dreadnoughtus was thirty feet tall, but Marisa looked to be closer to be thirty seven feet tall.

Marisa approached the lake's shore and began to drink as then Willson, Anna, Ashley, and Britney emerged shortly after.

Maisie noticed Katrina emerge from the forest and next to the Stegosaurus herd.

"Do you think they've become full on dinosaurs?" Owen asked.

"It's a possibility." Claire said as she unbuckled her seatbelt and stepped out of the car.

Maisie unbuckled her seatbelt as well and opened the door whilst holding the baby Parasaurolophus.

They set it down in the snow and it ran over to it's mother.

The two smiled at the reunion between the baby and it's mother.

However just then the Parasaurolophus herd then suddenly looked up, turned around and began to run away.

Claire and Maisie then turned around to see Nikki standing in the snow in front of their car.

The green female Ceratosaurus snarled softly at them and approached.

Owen's hands gripped tightly against the steering wheel as Nikki approached the car.

All Owen had to defend himself was his pocket knife.

Which he knew wouldn't do much against a Ceratosaurus. He just hoped Nikki could come back to her scenes.

Meanwhile all Nikki could see was red. Claire was red, Maisie was red, hell even the snow and water were different shades of red.

The female Ceratosaurus ignored Owen and the car but her tail nudged up against it softly.

Meanwhile Claire and Maisie slowly backed away from Nikki as she opened her jaws a little bit.

Saliva dribbled from her mouth and pearly white teeth.

Maisie knew that no one was around to save them.

All the other dinosaurs and shapeshifters had left the area once Nikki emerged.

Maisie took a deep breath and she began to transform into her dinosaur form.

After the transformation was complete Maisie noticed however her bandages had vanished during her transformation same with the rest of her clothes.

She stared back at Nikki and the two stared each other down.

Maisie just hoped she didn't have to fight Nikki.

Nikki backed down and walked away and Maisie sighed in relief.

However just then something rammed into her side.

Maisie skidded across the snow and she looked to see a Torosaurus bellowing at her.

It was one of Kista's lackeys. "I'm going to take you into Kista. Wether your dead or alive!" The Torosaurus roared in a female voice.

"And you'll die trying." Maisie snarled but for some reason her own voice felt unnatural to her when she said that.

The Torosaurus charged at her again but Maisie side stepped and clamped down on the ceratopsian's frill.

But the Torosaurus made her let go but shaking it's head roughly.

The Torosaurus then lunged at Maisie and she side stepped again but her eyes widened as she felt a searing pain in her shoulder area.

There was a singular long gash wound on her shoulder.

The Torosaurus then rammed into Maisie again and threw her over it's head.

Maisie fell to the ground hard and she groaned in pain.

However just then a purple and pale blur rammed into the Torosaurus.

"Leave her alone, Monika." Logan growled.

Maisie noticed that his front left leg was missing the makeshift caste Claire had made him.

"Get out of my way, traitor." Monika snarled.

"Make me." Logan snarled as he prepared to fight.

Monika charged at him but Logan delivered a swift and powerful strike with his tail.

Cutting Monika on the frill with his multiple thagomizers.

Monika snarled and she then tried to slash Logan with her brow horns but Logan smacked her again with his tail.

Monika roared in anger and charged at Logan.

But he side stepped and Monika charged right into a tree.

Hard enough to knock her out cold.

"Are you alright?" Logan asked Maisie.

"Aside from having the air knocked out of my lungs and getting gashed on the shoulder? Fine I guess." Maisie mumbled.

"Can you transform back?" Logan asked.

"I'll try." Maisie grunted as she began to transform back into her human form.

After she completely transformed Maisie climbed back into Owen's car.

"What's going on with everyone, why are they acting like normal dinosaurs?" Claire asked.

"Because I told them to." Logan answered.

"Why is that?" Claire asked.

"Kista's getting bolder." Logan said. "Claire, I saw her near the cabin earlier."

Claire's expression turned to one of horror.

"But where are McKenzie and Sara?" Claire asked.

"Don't know. Last I saw them they had disappeared off into the forest." Logan said.

"Thanks for the information Logan." Claire said.

The Atercurisaurus nodded silently.

"If you're going to fight Kista, you're going to need to fight her near a steep drop." Logan said.

Claire nodded and then climbed back into the car and Owen drove off back towards the cabin.

However as their car approached the cabin Owen and Claire's faces turned to shock and horror as they watched as Sara and McKenzie battled Kista.
