With the diplomatic mission now over, and people in the outer rim are hopefully going to be fed, you took a ship to Kamino.
"Padawan, why are you here?" Shaak Ti asked as she walked over "this clone, Brute, tried to kill me. I believe it is due to this thing that's in his head," you explained and her eyes widened, although she quickly recomposed herself, "why would he try to kill you?" she asked as the lieutenant, aka Help, wheeled his brother off the ship.
You walked with the jedi master through the halls to the medical bay, "so you're saying that something was forcing him to try to kill you?" she asked "I am, and I'm worried that it could happen to any clone. Or maybe he just didn't like me," you said. "Captain Skywalker, thank you for bringing the clone here, we will need the results of any scans you conducted," a kaminoan said "Y/n, meet Doctor Nala Se, she was a lead engineer in the creation of the clones," Shaak explained "actually, I was hoping you'd answer a few questions," you stated and Nala Se seemed a little taken aback "why would I need to answer some questions?" she scoffed "you were a lead engineer then you should know quite a bit about them correct? unless you would rather I went through your files? and who knows what I'll find. Maybe some sensitive info-" "I'll answer any questions you have," she interrupted.
You were brought to a room and began questioning, "Padawan is this really necessary?" Shaak asked with a sigh "yes. Now, I don't have many so this shouldn't take long. Question one, what's order 66?" you asked and the doctor seemed surprised "it is a contingency order for if any jedi go rogue and need to be eliminated," she said "what are these?" you asked and showed the scan results "I unaware, you'd have to ask someone who worked on the psyche of the clones," Nala Se replied "well, those were both my questions, now we should get to work on finding out what in the world caused the incident," you stated.
After a few hours some sort of chip had been removed, it had a tumour and Brute died shortly after.
"This is so confusing," you said as Shaak sat you on a bed "I know, but we're working to find out what happened. Get some rest Y/n, you need it," she replied "on one condition," you whispered "and what's that?" Shaak asked. You looked up into her eyes, "I've seen the way you look at me, and I can sense your emotions," you said "where are you going with this?" she asked as you stood up "kiss me," you whispered in her lekku. You sensed her getting flustered and smirked a little, "no, that is incredibly inappropriate," she said although you knew she wanted to. You stared into her eyes and smashed your lips into hers. You closed your eyes, wrapped your arms around the togruta jedi master and pulled her closer. When your lips separated you looked her in the eyes again "I know you enjoyed it," you said "I did, but we can't," she replied putting a hand on your chest "yes we can, who said anyone has to know?" you whispered and put a hand on her ass. The jedi master looked at you surprised, "why do you want this?" she asked "give me a reason not to. And don't say the jedi code," you replied and started kissing her again. "The age difference," she whispered in when you caught your breath "and that matters why?" you asked and the red skinned togruta was silent as she looked away from your face. You gently kissed her lekku, "do you want me to just say it? I love you, and I want to be with you," you said and she stared at you in surprise again "Y/n, if anyone found out I-" she was interrupted by you kissing her again "it wouldn't be the first jedi relationship I kept secret," you admitted. Shaak was very obviously shocked at this confession, "why didn't you tell the council?" she asked "because some people aren't physically able to be the way the code wants us to be. Me and Anakin are perfect examples," you explained "how so?" Shaak asked sounding confused "what I'm about to tell you has to stay between us... I would sneak off of Coruscant to go visit my mother when I was having nightmares if her dying. One time it had been around two months since I visited, Anakin and Padme came along and found out she had been taken by Tuscan raiders. Anakin and I tracked her down," you stated and she was even more shocked "so she's alright?" she asked with a hopeful look "no... she died in our arms. We... we were consumed by the dark side. And..." you began to tear up "you don't have to tell me if you're not comfortable to," she whispered in a comforting tone "we killed them, I heard the voice of Qui-gon but I couldn't stop. We slaughtered the whole village. Not even the children survived. I somehow produced this sort of red force lightning from one hand and black force lightning from the other, I thought I was never going to stop until I finally came to my senses. But when I came to... it was already too late," you confessed and broke down in tears. You felt Shaak rubbing your back as you cried into her shoulder. "How long ago did it happen?" she whispered "only several hours before the war began," you replied.
After you'd finished crying Shaak decided to sit in your lap. "You're amazing," you said smiling at her "so are you... does Master Windu know about your lightning?" she asked "no, I haven't brought it up. I probably should though," you replied before shrugging "but for now let's get some rest and we can worry about my lightning when we both have more energy," she nodded and you soon fell asleep.
