You now stood in the middle of the council chamber explaining what Maul told you about the sith grand plan. Leaving out the part of him being your brother. "So... the clone army was created by Sidious and his master?" Mace asked and you nodded "yes, and he wants Anakin as an apprentice," you replied "why would he want Skywalker? or even try to get him? he's loyal to the jedi," Mundi asked "there is a lot of mistrust between him and the council, you didn't even want him to become a jedi in the first place. It took Qui-gon's death to get through to you," you stated "he is loyal to people, not the order itself," "what else does Maul know?" Plo asked "I am unsure, he hasn't told me everything. But he trusts me, I believe he will in time," you replied. "Where is he now?" Obi-wan asked "getting some rest in my quarters, he needs it. He may have once been a sith, but that does not mean I will not showing him compassion," you said and noticed Yoda had a small smile as you said that "we will trust his information for now, we have to," Mace stated and you went to leave but Yoda stopped you. "A task for you I have Master Skywalker," he said "what is it Master?" you asked looking back at him "a padawan of your own, you are ready for, mmm. Yes. An apprentice you shall choose," he replied and you were surprised "yes Master," you said and left.
You walked into your quarters and saw Maul meditating. "Maul," you said getting his attention "I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to ask you to get a new living quarters," you stated "might I be informed as to why?" he asked "I'm receiving a padawan, I need the spare room. Padawans tend to share quarters with their master if their is room, especially if they're young," you explained "if that is what's best, can I be shown where it is?" he asked "I'll sort it out with the council, you'll likely get one that's for a knight. Right now I gotta go choose my padawan," you replied, he nodded and you walked out.
Time skip
It had been roughly two weeks since the council were informed of the sith plan. And you hadn't gotten an apprentice yet.
You made your way through the temple to where you'd choose an apprentice through the usual means. The padawan selection day... thing.
You stood next to a few other masters, and mostly knights, and waited as younglings came out. One immediately caught your eye, you could sense he had a rare ability. He stood opposite Aayla Secura, and when masters began selecting you walked over and knelt down to him, "hello there young one, I'm Y/n Skywalker, what's your name?" you asked with a soft smile "Cal, Cal Kestis," he replied "how would you like to be my apprentice?" you asked and his face lit up "yes!" he exclaimed and hugged you before backing off "s-sorry Master," he said "it's quite alright Cal, and please, call me Y/n. Now come, let us begin," you replied standing up and Cal followed you out.
