Chapter 11: The final battle

Hiccup unlocked the Monstrous Nightmare's cage and Hiccup was calming it down just like he did on his test and it seem to be working, al of the teens were amazed but Snotlout got nervous so he grabbed a random weapon but Astrid stopped him

When the Nightmare was in front of them Hiccup grabbed Snotlout's hand pilling it closer to the Nightmare's snout "Wait! What are you-" Snotlout said pulling his hand back

"It's okay, it's okay" Hiccup said grabbing Snotlout's hand again then Hiccup put Snotlout's hand on then Nightmare's snout, Snotlout only laughed not believing he was touching a dragon

But then Hiccup began to walk away "Wait, where are you going?" Snotlout asked

"You're going to need something to help you hold on" Hiccup said grabbing some ropes

The other teens then looked at the other dragons already out of their cages "Trust me you are really going to need them" Blake said

Back with Stoick, he and the Vikings were ready for the fight with some catapult they brought back from Berk and placing wooden stakes on the ground

"When we crack this mountain open, all hell is going to brake on the loose" Stoick said "And my undies, good thing I brought extras" Gobber joked "No matter how it ends, it ends today" Stoick announced

When Stoick gave the signal, the catapults fire the first boulders to the mountain breaking it but it was too dark to see something so another catapult fire a boulder on fire reviling hundreds of dragons on the walls

All of the Vikings charged at the dragons swinging their weapons trying to kill them, Toothless however saw the dragons fly away and he tried to do the same but he couldn't

"Is that it?" Gobber asked disappointed "We've done it!" A Viking cheered making all of then cheer but Stoick looked at Toothless trying to escape, that made him realize that something was wrong

"It isn't over yet!" Stoick yelled, suddenly the mountain started to collapse with a massive roar and the Red Death emerged from it making all of the Vikings screamed trying to run away

"Beard of Thor, what is that?!" Gobber said, "Odion help us" Stoick said to himself "Catapults!" he ordered, the Vikings fire the catapults but it was useless, it only made the Red Death mad and destroyed one of the catapults with its jaws crushing it

"Get to the ships!" someone said "NO!" Stoick warned but no one listen, when the Red Death looked at what the Vikings were trying to do, she fired a gigantic stream of fire burning the ships

"I was a fool, lead the man to the fair side of the island Gobber go with them" Stoick ordered "I think I'll stay in case you think of doing something crazy" Gobber said following Stoick

"I can buy them a few minutes if I give that thing something to hunt" Stoick said "Then I can double that time" Gobber said

Then Stoick looked at the Red Death "HERE!" he yelled "Oh no, HERE! Come on bite me!" Gobber yelled

"NO, ME!" Stoick yelled but suddenly a fire blast hit the Red Death in the head making it roar in pain

Stoick looked at the direction from the bast came from just to see all of the teen riding dragons

Fishlegs was riding the Gronkle, Tuffnut and Ruffnut were riding the Zippleback, Snotlout was riding the Monstrous Nightmare, Blake was riding Thunder and Hiccup and Astrid were riding the Nadder
