The buffet was soooo good I don't even have words, I had to send a picture I took of it to Sammy. Basically our all time favorite was going to buffets and eating as much as our stomachs could handle without throwing out (well trying not to), it's just that buffets are not so cheap, we need to make sure our intake is worth the money. If you reread the last sentence I wrote,  "it WAS", because my parents, as great health care workers, banned us from going to these fantastic places due to the" unhealthyness" of the matter.  Yeahh I kind of get it. We spent some hours on the road until we arrived to grandpa's house. Not hard to see to be honest, he literally has the biggest American flag of all the neighborhood, guess among his veteran friends they compete with the size of their flags idk.
When I saw him, I hugged him in a long and warm hug. He asked me if I was going to get into the Marine next year, which to that I shooked my head, although I told him I wanted to become a doctor and perhaps service in the army as a medic. I could see how he kinda grinned at that last part of the sentence. He asked my brother about basketball and that stuff. My parents decided to go to a restaurant while granpa cooked smoked ribs for us in his backyard. We also started a fire to get warmer in the chilly night in which we ate smores while he told us stories about his early days serving the country, I loved how his eyes sparkled whenever he talks about the friends he met there and about the adventures he had lived. For me my grandpa, with his almost 6.5 feet was the kindest and sweetest soul despite his military background. I love him.
