I woke up early in the morning. It was the day I have been waiting for forever. Today, I'm graduating. I shot out of bed with excitement. I couldn't believe I was finally here. I went to my closet and got my cap and gown out. Along with my mid thigh length red dress to go under it. I stared in a we for a few moments before laying it out on my bed. I sat down at my vanity to do my makeup. I couldn't wait.

After I was done doing my hair and my makeup it was time to put the dress on. I put the dress on, then the gown, then my cap. I stood back in to my mirror so I wouldn't see myself yet. I took a deep breath, closed my eyes, then turned around. When I opened them I thought I was going to cry. Looking at myself in my grad outfit was insane. I tilted my head up so I wouldn't ruin my makeup. That sure was a task. I went downstairs to show my parents, after my mom and dad finished cooing over my dress and dried their tears, we got ready to leave.

The drive there couldn't have felt longer. But the second we arrived at the school it all felt so real. There were parents, grandparents, siblings, absolutely everywhere. I was looking around for Eddie. He's probably in there already. After getting out of the car I made my way onto the field to look for class. I saw Robin and ran over to her.

"Oh my god you look stunning." She gasped and gave me a hug. "I can't believe we finally made it." I replied. She agreed. She looks behind my shoulder for a moment. "I think someone is waiting to see you" he says gesturing behind me. I turn around to see Eddie. He looked floored.

"Sweetheart you always look amazing but holy shit." He said. I just jumped into his arms. He lifted me off the ground. "Eddie can you believe we're finally graduating high school." I said with more excitement then I've ever felt before. "Not really, it just feels so surreal." He said. As I was about to respond they called everyone to get in line. It was time.

After a few minutes I finally heard them call "Eddie Munson" then I saw Eddie run up on the stage and grab his diploma. I was proud of him. Then after ten more people I heard them say "(Y/N) (Y/L/N)" I smiled widely and walked up on the stage. I took my diploma and shook my principals hand.

A few minutes later was the big cap toss. We all changed the tassels to the other side and tossed them up. I was standing next to Robin and I gave her a hug. I hardly even cared about my makeup then. I started crying and so did she. We had finally graduated, and it's something we have been waiting for forever.

"I'm proud of you sweetheart." Eddie said coming up behind me and hugging me. I latched onto him. "I couldn't have done this without you. I love you." I said tearfully. "We're free. To do whatever we want." He smiled. I kissed him. Then my mouth moved faster then my brain. "Then let's leave, together. Leave this town." I blurted. He stared at me bewildered. "Let's take some time to plan first." He grinned. I kissed him again. We were finally free. Together.
