It was late, I was sitting on Eddie's bed in his trailer reading my book. While he gently picked at his guitar strings. Every minute or so I hear a pencil scratching on paper. Along with a hum of a melody.

"Yes!" He exclaimed. I looked away from my book over to him. "What?" I asked. He just looked at me with a grin. "I finished my song!" He said proudly.

"Nice! What's it about?" I asked curiously, I've always loved hearing Eddie's songs. Before he answered me he gave me a look of pure love.

"You" he mumbled. I smiled. "Can I hear it?" I asked. He nodded and situated his guitar on his lap.

He started picking the strings, it was a beautiful arrangement musically, however when the lyrics started it was truly amazing. Some of the sweetest words about me that I have ever heard. One particularly beautiful line was when he said " I was lost within the darkness but then I found her." When he said that I thought I was going to cry.

When the last strum rung out and the music stopped I was speechless. My eyes were seconds away from spilling out tears. It was beautiful. I just couldn't believe that anyone could ever love me enough to write a whole song about me.

"What do you think?" He asks. It took me a couple seconds to think of a response.

"Eddie that- that was the most beautiful thing I have ever heard. It was incredible." I said. His face lit up when I said it.

"Well, sweetheart, it's all because of you, you're my muse." He said grinning. A tear nearly escaped my eye. I think he noticed.

"Eddie I love you so much." The tear finally escaped. I wiped it away. "You even got me crying." I laughed. He put his guitar down and wrapped me in a hug. "I love you." I whispered. "I love you too." He whispered in return.
