   I was sitting at my desk doing homework. Eddie was sitting on my bed playing my guitar. Just picking away at the strings.

"Are you almost done?" He whined. The timing was good because I had just finished my last sentence on my essay. So as a matter of fact, I was done!

"Yes actually I am!" I said getting out of my chair and sitting on the bed. He put my guitar back on it's stand. He sat back on the bed and gave me a look.

"What?" I said with a giggle. He just out his arms out, and gave me a smile. I understood Immediately and climbed into his arms.

  I could hear his breathing under his shirt. He had his arms wrapped around my waist and his chin was rested on my head. I just anchored my arms around him. We sat there and never said a word. He started humming. The tune was familiar, it was "Let It Be" by The Beatles. He knows that's my favourite band. I decided to prop my chin on his chest and look at him. He doesn't notice and first. However when he does he just grins.

"What?" He mumbles.

"Nothing, you're just pretty." I tease. He leans his head down and kisses me. Softly. His kisses are usually gentle.

"I love you." I whisper. "I love you too, sweetheart." he says giving me one last peck on the cheek.

I just nuzzle my face in the crook of his neck. I can feel him smile. He just rubs my back as we lay there and listen to the sound of the rain hitting the window softly.
