Juliet puts her phone down and screams into her pillow. Really? She'd fall in love with a Montague? She's better than that isn't she? Juliet can't believe herself. She opens her balcony doors and begins to express her thoughts.

"Romeo, why do you have to be a Montague? I'd change my name to be with you! But what even is a name? It's not yours, it's your father's. Give up your name and love me!"

Juliet heard a voice say, "I trust your words. Just call me your love, and I will take a new name. From now on I will never be Romeo again."

Juliet blushed and turned to the sound. "Who are you? Why do you hide in the darkness and listen to my private thoughts?" She asked.

Romeo announces himself. "Hi Juliet," He whispers. Juliet stares at him, her thoughts rushing but she has nothing to say.

"You haven't even said a hundred words, but I recognize your voice. Hello Romeo Montague," Juliet says, propping her arm on her balcony.

"That's not my name if you don't like it," Romeo swears.

Juliet helps him up onto her balcony and looks into his eyes. "Tell me, how did you get in here? And why did you come? The orchard walls are high, and it's hard to climb over them. If any of my relatives find you here they'll kill you," Juliet warns. Romeo climbs up her balcony to look at her more clearly.

"I don't care what your family does to me. I love you and our love will protect us," Romeo says, a smile spreading across his face.

Juliet's brow furrows. "If they see you they'll murder you," She says.

Romeo laughs and grabs her hand. "One angry look from you would be worse than twenty of your relatives with swords. Just look at me kindly, and I'm invincible against their hatred." Juliet pushes him off and covers her blushing face.

"I'd give anything to keep them from seeing you here," Juliet promises.

"The darkness will hide me from them," Romeo says with a hand wave, he grabs Juliet's face and makes her look at him. "If you don't love me, let them find me here. I'd rather they killed me than have to live without your love."

"Who told you how to get here below my bedroom?" Juliet asks.

"Love showed me the way, the same thing that made me look for you in the first place."

"I'm not a sailor, but if you were across the farthest sea, I would risk everything to gain you," Romeo says.

"Swear that you love me Romeo. I know you'll say you do but I want you to swear it. If you don't say so, I will leave you. You'll never have to deal with me again. I wish I was like the other girls who play hard to get, but I'm a fool. You heard my confessions. Tell me if you love me, swear it," Juliet demands squeezing his hands.

"Beautiful Juliet, I swear it on the moon-" Romeo starts

"Don't swear it on the moon Romeo. The moon is always changing. Every month its position in the sky shifts. I don't want you to turn out to be that inconsistent too," Juliet says.

"Then what do you want me to swear it on?" Romeo asks.

"Swear it on your beautiful self Romeo," Juliet says, grabbing Romeo's face, "I must go back inside now Romeo. It's time for me to go to sleep. Good night Romeo."

"Wait! Give me your number first!" Romeo asks.

"Of course I almost forgot," Juliet says and grabs his phone. She puts her number down in his phone. Romeo texts her quickly and then Juliet runs back inside. Juliet giggles and hugs her phone. Romeo, romeo. It's all she can think about. Tomorrow will be a good day.
