Y/n Harrington, a seemingly good girl to the public. She was pretty and rich, and the little sister to Steve Harrington. Everyone expected her to join the cheer squad, but she didn't, it wasn't her thing. Instead she got a part time job at Family Video. Working with her brother, and bestfriend Robin.

But behind closed doors, Y/n was always getting in trouble. Not by her parents, but by Steve her big brother, and her bestfriend. Well newly bestfriend. Before all the upside and the Demogorgons, and the mind-flayer, and the crazy Russians the two weren't close. They were constantly arguing, and saying hurtful things to each other.

Their parents didn't notice cause they were NEVER around. They were always out of town together, never trusting each other to leave without the other. Y/n was surprised they were still even married, cause they didn't really act like it.

Y/n and Steve mostly shared the same friends, almost. There was one friend that Y/n had, that she never told Steve or anyone about. It was Eddie Munson. The two had been friends for over a year, he was supposed to graduate before her but he didn't. The two had been hanging around a smoking together, and even drinking. Of course Steve didn't know a damn thing about it, he'd kill Y/n if he did.

It wasn't easy to explain to Eddie why Y/n vanished for a while when all the Russians were around, and Y/n was helping Steve with all that stuff. She tried to be as vauge as possible, and eventually he stopped asking. It didn't take long for Y/n to catch feelings for Eddie, something that she also managed to keep a secret.

Currently, Y/n sat in the woods at a specific picnic bench waiting for Eddie. This is where they normally met up, and Y/n was always here first. She had her pocket knife out, and was stabbing it into the table carving out some of the wood.

"Ah, Y/n!" A familiar voice sang happily.

Y/n looked up with a smile "God, finally." She said, "Do you know how long you take?" She asked.

Eddie just laughed as he sat across from her "I'm sorry, princess, Dustin wouldn't stop talking to me." He said, "We've got a campaign coming up."

Dustin Henderson, another one of Y/n's friends. But Dustin did not know that Y/n was also friends with him. Eddie hated how the two had to hide their friendship, but at the same time he understood. Especially with how she explained her brother to be.

And that nickname, something that made her heart flutter. He was always coming up with nicknames for Y/n, she always got so flustered with she was called something like that. Eddie could tell that she got flustered from it, so he continued.

"Big campaign?" Y/n asked as he pulled out the little tin box he had full of weed, "Damn, that smells good." She mumbled.

"Oh yeah, everyone in Hellfire is excited." Eddie said as he began rollong a blunt, "How has your day been lovely?" He asked.

Y/n smiled and looked down at the table, stabbing it some more. Her face dusted a light pink "Good, hung out with Robin for a while. Well till lunch came around, she had to go do somethin, I dunno." She explained looking up.

Eddie just chuckled "Sounds eventful." He said, licking the paper and rolling the joint closed.

Who knew something so simple, and stupid as licking a joint closed could be so hot. Once again Y/n forced herself to look away, "Oh yeah, very." She mumbled.

"Whats up with you?" Eddie asked looking at her, slightly worried with her behavior.

"Just a little tired." Y/n said waving her hand, looking back up at the long, curly haired boy.

Eddie hummed and placed the joint between his lips, and grabbed his lighter. With the joint between his lips, and hand in front of his face he flicked the lighter and lit the joint. Inhaling he passed it to Y/n, who eagerly took it.

Eddie let out a breath "Your lucky, y'know that, right?" He said.

Y/n took a drag of the joint, and deeply inhaled only blowing out a little smoke "Why, is it cause I'm in your presence?" She joked.

"What, no, I mean yes. But, because you don't gotta pay for this." Eddie said taking the joint from her, "This stuff isn't free for me."

"If you need money Ed's, I'll give you money." Y/n said, "You know money is no issue for me." She hummed reaching into her pocket and pulling out her wallet "How much you want?"

"Princess, I was kidding." Eddie said with a laugh, "You don't have to pay, being in your presence is enough." He said blowing smoke in her face.

"I'm glad it's the weekend." Y/n said leaning forward to take the joint, "Fuckin hate school, cannot wait to graduate."

"Oh same. This year is my year." Eddie said confidently, "86' baby."

Y/n laughed as she let out a breath of smoke "You sure about that hot stuff?" She asked jokingly.

Eddie rolled his eyes "Ha, Ha, funny." He said sarcastically, looking down at the table.

"Awe, c'mon Ed's, you know I'm joking." Y/n said smiling gently, taking another hit before handing it over "We'll walk across that stage, together."

Eddie looked up and took the joint with a growing smile "Damn right." He said, "Y'know, you should come to my place sometime, and we can smoke there. Better than staying out here."

Y/n chuckled "What about your uncle, you said he works nights." She said.

"Ah, it's fine, even when he's off he'll be sleeping or at the bar." Eddie said with a shrug.

Around 10pm, Y/n had made it home. She spent several hours hanging out with Eddie, and getting high out of her mind. When she walked inside her house, as usual her parents weren't home, but Steve was. And he was standing at the door, arms crossed and a look on his face.

"God, you look like mom." Y/n grumbled as she walked past him.

"God you reek of marijuana Y/n." Steve scowled following after her, "How many times have I told you, stop smoking or I'm putting you on house arrest, I will ground you!"

"You've said that before Stevie." Y/n said calling him a nickname that Robin often called him.

Steve groaned "Stop calling me that!" He exclaimed, "Both you and Robin are horrible about it."

"Y/n, I'm serious, you need to stop smoking." Steve said following her upstairs, "Where do you even get it?" He asked.

"None of your business." Y/n answered as she made her way to her room, "And don't even act like you haven't done it either." She hissed.

"That's different Y/n, I'm older than you." Steve said as they approached her room.

Y/n paused outside of her room and glared at him "By two years Steve, fuckin two years." She said.

"Still, you're still my baby sister." Steve said trying to reason with her.

"Yes, yes, I know I'm still your baby sister. Blah, blah, blah, more big brother talk." Y/n said rolling her eyes, "I've memorized this little speech of yours a billion times."

"Y/n-"

"Now, I'm gonna lay down." She said basically kicking her door open "Goodnight big bro!" Y/n said with a grin before slamming the door.

Steve threw his hands in the air, and sighed "God damnit." He mumbled before walking off "Damn children."
