Y/n woke the next morning, her body sore and aching. She was in Eddie's shirt, since she had begged him to wear it(though it wasn't that hard to get him to say yes.). Eddie's arms were wrapped tightly around her, holding Y/n as close as he could. She tried to escape his hold, but her moments only made him pull her closer.

"Don't go." Eddie mumbled hiding his face in her neck, "Just wait a little longer." He whispered.

"Ed's-" Y/n said gently, "C'mon I gotta get up." She said.

"How come?" Eddie asked voice slightly muffled in her neck.

"I've gotta try and contact Steve, see if everyone is okay, and see if he'll bring us some food." Y/n said, "And I wanna do our laundry again."

Eddie groaned "How about today, we lay in bed all day. And tomorrow, we'll radio everyone. " He asked, moving his face so he could look at her.

Y/n turned slightly to face him, and she sighed "fine." She said smiling.

"Are-are you okay after last night?" Eddie asked nervously.

"Yeah, just a little sore." Y/n said gently, "You, heh, really did a number on me." She teased.

Eddie's face went pink "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. Next time we should probably have a safe word." He mumbled shyly.

"Ed's it's fine, I liked it, a lot." Y/n said chuckling and kissing his cheek, "And a safe word is a good idea, just in case."

"Are you sure?" Eddie asked.

"Positive. And when all this is over, I'd love to try out a few things with you." Y/n teased pecking his cheek.

"Do you think I'll ever innocent to the public?" Eddie asked weakly, his face falling and his mood changing drastically.

"Yes." Y/n said "It's just going to be a lot harder this time." She explained, "I doubt that Callahan and them will believe in all of the shit we've dealt with."

"Only Chief Hopper believed you?" Eddie asked.

Y/n chuckled "Not cause of what we told him, but because of what he saw on his own." She said, "That first year, was-it was something." She mumbled.

"You haven't said much about that first year." Eddie pointed out, "Why?" He asked.

Y/n chuckled "It wasn't a good year for me, I mean Will went missing....and I blamed myself for it. Especially since I was older than all of them....I still do." She explained.

"Why do you blame yourself?" Eddie asked, "You couldn't control what happened."

"I should've made sure he got home safe, especially since his house was quite away from Mike's." Y/n mumbled shaking her head.

"Sweetheart, you couldn't have possibly thought he'd go missing." Eddie said, "I mean, before then Hawkins was always quite."

Y/n chuckled "Yeah, wonder what changed. What cursed the town, or-or even us." She said shaking her head.

A day later(FOR PLOT), Y/n sat on the couch. Trying to contact Steve, or anyone. Her and Eddie were out on food, and the last time they had spoken to any of them was yesterday. They were investigating this man named Victor Creel, who apparently had done the same thing that happened to Chrissy and Fred, to his family.

They hadn't fully updated her on Max, only saying that she was doing relatively okay. Steve's reason for not telling her everything, was he didn't want to stress her more, than she already was. But when she wasn't getting a response from anyone, the worst came to mind.
