Y/n and Eddie sat together in the very back of the Rv, and Y/n was passed out. She was laying on Eddie, her body weight pressed against him. Eddie just had his arms around her, brushing his fingers through her hair. He was just looking down at her, a small smile on his face.

He found it hard to sleep, he just couldn't. Especially with crazy thoughts in his head, they were getting closer and closer. Closer to stopping Vecna, and closer to clearing his name and possibly hers. He felt guilty for dragging her into this, but at the same time he wouldn't want anyone else at his side but her.

Y/n made him feel complete, made him feel whole. He loved this girl more than anything. He never expected to ever feel anything like this, like true happiness. Sure he's dated a few other girls, but none of them made him feel like how Y/n made him feel. Everything about her was amazing, and perfect.

Eddie kissed the top of her head "I love you, so much." He whispered.

"You are such a dork, Eddie Munson." Y/n grumbled suddenly.

The metalheads eyes went wide "You-your awake?" He stuttered, his face and ears heating up.

Y/n hummed "Kinda sorta." She mumbled, "I've been in and out of sleep."

"You okay?" Eddie asked gently looking down at her face.

The teen opened her eyes, and tiredly looked up at him "Yeah, just want all this to be over."

Eddie smiled "Yeah, me too." He whispered, "Maybe....maybe when it's all over, and our names are cleared. Maybe I can take you on a date?" He suggested.

"Really?" Y/n asked with a smile, the two never really had a chance for a date considered everything that happened.

"Yeah, of course." Eddie said "I'll take you somewhere nice, and we'll have dinner and then head back to your place or mine, and we could watch a movie together."

"That sounds amazing. But we don't have to go anywhere fancy, or anything." Y/n said "You can take me anywhere and I'd be happy."

"Well, too bad, we're going somewhere nice." Eddie said kissing the top of her head, "No go back to sleep, sweetheart, you need it."

Y/n hummed and rolled her eyes, she didn't bother arguing cause she was truly exhausted "I love you too, Eddie." She whispered.

Once they arrived at the war zone, Robin, Nancy, Steve, Max, and Erica went inside. Y/n, Eddie, Lucas, and Dustin had to stay back for obvious reasons. But at the same time this gave them some time to brainstorm, and plan everything out a little more.

"Okay, first we need a way to distract the bats." Dustin said "And who will do that." He added grabbing a pen and paper. The four of them sat at the table, Dustin and Lucas sitting across from Eddie and Y/n.

"Lets start on the who first." Lucas said, "I'm going with Max, and neither of you can stop me."

Y/n nodded "Thats fine, someone needs to be with her anyway." She said, "I can stay back and distract the bats." She confidently said.

"I'll stay back too." Eddie quickly said "No way in hell she's doing this alone."

"Well, if you guys plan on doing it at the trailer, you'll need more help." Dustin said "I'll stay too, we can fortify the trailer and take shelter in there when they get there."

Y/n nodded "Okay, now how will we distract them?" She asked.

"Well, you'll need something loud. Something to draw their attention." Lucas said "Fireworks? Thoes are loud, and plus they have colorful lights."
