Chapter 18

WARNING: MENTIONS OF SUICIDE AND SELF HARM!

Izuku was in his room just thinking. He had a lot of pent up energy but there was really no way to let it out. He wanted to punch something but it was the middle of the day and he worked at night. He got a text from Aizawa. 'Glad to see you are back.' He read it as he responded. 'What can I say, you were right...I needed to make a change.' He said as he fell asleep.

He woke up at about 8:30 pm so he grabbed his gear. Before he left he looked at a bag of weapons and decided to leave them behind. He took his mask and threw it away. He opted for a more stealthy and less bulky mask not too dissimilar to a ninja.  Finally, he grabbed a bag of marbles, a pen, and paper, before jumping out of the window. He ran down the street and didn't see much for a while. Finally he found someone he could hit.

It was a man who was trying to break into a car. Before the man made any progress Izuku walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around and saw Izuku. "Oh shit." He yelled as he began to run. Izuku took a deep breath and dashed as fast as he could towards the man and punched him in the stomach. He felt better after that. He wrote a note and taped it to the man after tying him up.

The note read:
This man is a criminal, take him to the station.
-from Ghost.

It was very rare for Izuku to refer to himself as Ghost. He hated the name but he needed to go by something other than Izuku or Deku because both of those would give away his identity. There was no deep reason why he hated it, he just thought it was corny.

When he got to his home he set a notebook on the table. He began to draw out a new suit. He couldn't be as violent as he has been in the past. His suit was very bare, it was only a green shirt and black sweatpants as well as a black scarf. His mask was just a bandana over his mouth. He had grabbed the shirt, pants, and scarf. He took off his mask and set it next to his new suit. He was going to be different from now on. He wanted to end fights as quickly as possible. He grabbed some hand wrapping and set it next to his gear. He went to bed in order to rest for the night.

The next morning he got up and left early to start his routine. He walked down the street for a few minutes. He reached a coffee shop and stepped inside. He ordered a drink and a muffin for breakfast. As he drank his coffee and ate his food he was reading a newspaper. Once he had finished his breakfast he payed and walked out the door.

As he stepped out the door he saw All Might in his true form. Izuku was clued in on All Might's condition by Aizawa and he even saw him at U.A. However, he never knew if All Might recognized him.

"Hello." All might said calmly. "Would you mind talking with me for a moment?" He continued as he motioned to a car on his right. It was black and sleek with a chauffeur at the wheel. Izuku stepped into the car and sighed. All might sat in the seat next to Izuku. For the first minute or so, there was complete silence. Izuku finally broke the silence, "So...do you know who I am?" He asked before All Might nodded. "I know who you are young midoriya." He replied calmly. "So what is it you would like to talk about?" Izuku questioned as all might sighed.

All might looked at izuku and spoke. "I am here to apologize. I-" he said before being cut off. "I forgive you." Izuku said, shocking all might. "Just like that? I was under the impression that you hated me." All might said, looking downward. Izuku sighed.

"Look, I do not hate you, I don't think I ever could. When you found me I was at my lowest, I had nothing. No friends, no loving family, no reason to get up in the morning. I would cut myself, steal, drink, and my anxiety got so bad that I would throw up just by being near my school. But you found me and in a weird way, gave me the motivation I needed to keep living." He said before tearing up.

"And then I blew it. I finally had a purpose and I just threw it away because I was too weak to fight ba-" he said before being cut off by All Might. "Stop...you are not weak. It takes an incredible amount of strength to go through what you have. Do not ever call yourself weak." All Might said as Izuku started to cry. Suddenly Izuku grabbed All Might and cried in his arms. In that moment, All Might decided that he would watch over Izuku and keep him safe.

(Hello everybody, sorry this took so long to come out. I recently got a new job and it is taking up a large portion of my time. Now about the last part of the chapter I would like to know, do you think I should give One for All to Izuku? I want to hear your opinion so comment what you think. Also if you have a preference on who receives one for all instead of Izuku let me know.)
