"He is in stable condition but he will need some time to heal properly. I have done all I can for him." recovery girl said. Izuku sat up and rubbed his eyes. "What happened?" He asked revieving worried glances from the teachers in the room. "Hey kid, you...were found passed out on the street with severe injuries to your back and serious blood loss." Aizawa said "Frankly you're lucky to be alive." He continued. "Is there any permanent damage?" Izuku asked "there shouldn't be to many issues." Aizawa said to which Izuku sighed in relief. "However, you will no longer be permmitted to work at U.A. Due to recent events, we have decided that it is too dangerous for you." Aizawa said. Izuku stared in silence, "S-so I guess you want me to pack up my stuff." Izuku said solemnly. "We have organized someone to do that while you heal, for now just rest." Aizawa said, seeing his sadness.

3 weeks later

Izuku has now mostly healed, besides a large scar on his back. He was at home, or at least he tried to be at home bust mostly just felt like he was the farthest away from home he could be. He wanted to work as a vigilante but honestly, he felt like he lost his drive to fight. He felt like he found stability but it was taken from him because he couldn't defend himself. He never wanted to feel lost again but to do that he needed to train harder than he ever has before in his life.

3 months later

It has been about 3 months since Izuku left U.A. So much has changed, the sports festival ended with bakugo coming in first and everyone was out on their internships. Izuku had missed so much and Aizawa was at a loss. Evey day is something different, two thugs beaten beyond recognition, a drunk man with broken glass in his head, three men killed after attemping to rob a house. He has been looking for him every day but never does. Tonight he is going to meet Izuku at his usual training spot, the beach. So he put on his goggles and went out.

He went to the beach and heard the sound of metal being struck. He jumped over and saw izuku hitting a refrigerator to shit. "Are you going to stand there or come talk to me Aizawa?" Izuku said without breaking focus. Aizawa hopped down "where have you been kid?" Aizawa asked. "Training, you said it yourself, it was too dangerous for me, so now I'm going to train until I am strong enough to fight on my own." Izuku said, continuing to hit the fridge. He took out a pair of brass knuckles and knocked it to the ground. "Kid, you are strong but you can't just go from fighting common thugs to fighting super villains." Aizawa said. "Look, I can't tell you this as a hero so I will tell you as a friend. We need you, not the citizens but us, every hero needs you to protect those who we can't help. I legally cannot agree with your methods but I can at least respect your drive to help people." Aizawa said. Finally izuku looked up and he was drenched in sweat. "Look, I want to help you but I can't, you were right, I'm just a kid who can fight." Izuku said as he began to tear up. "Do you really believe that?" Aizawa said "You said it not me..." Izuku replied. "After I said that you fought with me side by side, and basically sacrificed yourself to save everyone, you are not just a kid, you are a hero. If you don't keep fighting for me, keep fighting for them. Those kids never shut up about you." Aizawa chuckled. "Do they really?" Izuku asked "every day" Aizawa replied.

"Besides, the kid I remember would never use a weapon unless he had to, from where I am standing you got weaker if you need these to beat someone" Aizawa said holding up izuku's hand and gesturing to his brass knuckles. Aizawa then left izuku alone and returned to U.A. Izuku threw his brass knuckles to the ground and slept on the beach.

The next morning he woke up and went for a run. He got a text on his phone from someone in his contacts just named J. All it said was "you coming tonight?" Izuku looked at the text and replied with "yeah I'll be there in 10 minutes". He turned off his phone and changed directions. He saw an abandoned yellow building and walked into the alley beside it. On the side of the building was a beaten up door and a small sign that said 'The Lion's Den' he opened the door, went down a few flights of steps, and saw a man in front of another door. He looked at Izuku and let him pass.

The Lion's den was a reletively underground business built upon a fighting tournament where people fight with no regulations besides one against killing and spectators bet on who will win. Izuku was recruited by a man named Jason who saw Izuku fighting one day and decided that he would be perfect for it. Izuku was not very well known in the underground community but those who know him, consider him to be a force to be reckoned with in the ring.

Izuku opened the door and saw two paths, one going left and another going right. The left path led to lights and the sounds of cheering while the right path was quiet and dim. He went to the right and finally was face to face with a man just a little taller than him. "Hey Izuku, ready?" He said "you know I am Jason." Izuku replied. Izuku took off his shirt and put on a black tank top.

He put on some makeup around his eyes and walked through a door, this led to a staircase directly into the ring. Finally izuku stepped in and the announcer spoke through a microphone. "Our next challenger is a fighting prodigy rising the ranks faster than ever before. He may be small but his ferocious style will break anyone and everyone unfortunate enough to meet him. Ladies and Gentlemen, the mysterious fighter with a name sure to send chills down your spine. Please welcome, THE PHANTOM!" The crowd erupted into cheering as a large, rotund man appeared. "Now tonight we have a new challenger, we know nothing of his fighting abilities, all we know is his name. Please welcome for the first time ever, CANNONBALL!" The announcer yelled once more. A referee stood between them and held his hand in the air. "Now, remember, anything and everything goes, that inclues quirks. Just make sure you do not kill each other and may the best fighter win. Ready, Go!" He yelled as he swiped his hand down and a bell rang throughout the room.

Cannonball was the first to attack. He rushed forward with incredible speed and the floor cracked under his feet. Izuku quickly jumped out of the way and he ran into the wall leaving a dent in it. Izuku jumped onto the man's back and continuously punched his head. The man threw Izuku off and spit out some blood. Izuku charged toward the man. He looked smug and just stood there as if he thought that Izuku would just bounce off. However, at the last second izuku jumped and tackled the man directly in the stomach. 'If I did my calculation right, this spot should be his center of mass, if his center of mass is shifted enough, he will fall.' Izuku said as the man stumbed backwards and finally toppled down and izuku wailed on him until finally the reff pulled him off and inspected the man. He waved his hands in the air, announcing that the fight was over, he had been knocked out. Izuku walked off the ring without a second thought and quickly left.
