⎮Stark Tower- Same Time⎮

"What does he mean a love bite?"

"HICKIES?"

"SHE'S FOUR AND A HALF!"

"YOUNG CHILD NO HICKIES!"

"BEFORE ME!"

"I literally thought she was 7 and a half yesterday."

"What did you just say?" That last one comes from Grandfather Odin who was furious, the sky was darkening due to Thor's anger and Grandmother Frigga was giving me a disappointed yet sympathetic look. I didn't even bother looking at my parents' faces as Peter looked one step from webbing me to a Church. "What does your Uncle mean young lady?"Odin demands.

"Grandfather-" I go to deflect and buy myself some time, getting cut off by Thor.

"And don't think of lying to him, Loki will most certainly be able to tell," Thor interjects with a disappointed frown.

"Well, the other day.." I trail off before telling them the entire story, excluding the fact that Bucky and Sam knew since it would just get them in trouble with the rest of the family. "We just got carried away, it was a complete accident and one I won't be repeating, I'm sorry." I apologize, looking down while the whole family is glancing at me, with stern faces, and sympathetic looks from the women in the room; specifically Yelena.

"I am so.." Odin trails off glancing at the darkening sky. "Thor please son, reign in your temper. Peter young man, no you can not web your sister up to her room for the rest of your life, Tony and Steve she can't join a mortal convent, and Loki my son, you can't kill the boy who did this." He addresses each of them, slowly calming them down before turning toward me.

"Grandfather.." I start, glancing at him from my face on the ground, "I'm so.." I trail off not knowing what to say.

"Perhaps we should try to continue our family day and address this later, perhaps in a more private setting?" Laura suggests, noticing my discomfort and the little kids who were glancing at the conversation with rapt interest.

"Laura's right, we'll talk about this later. For now kids why don't you all go enjoy the pool." Steve glances at all of us, letting us know it wasn't a suggestion. We slowly clean up and I help Lila off the bench while Peter has Cassie and Cooper has Nate. Wanda and Pietro follow us over, grabbing the towels off the table.

"So, how was it?" Wanda asks once the younger kids are settled in the pool with the boys, we're working on our tans while they played around. I give her a tired sigh, not wanting to dive into specifics. She gives me a once-over, not pushing the issue.

"It was weird," I speak up 10 minutes later, after letting my thoughts take control for a moment. "I think that I liked it but it was uncomfortable to be walked in on, and now everyone knows something about my private life." I adjust my sunglasses so I can actually look at Wanda. "Everyone's disappointed, I can feel it and I just am worried about how long it's going to take to fix it, and if I deserve to," I admit.
