⎮Wakanda - 3 Hours Later⎮
"Wow," Bruce says once we land in Wakanda. The view of the country is beautiful, and it's obvious how technically advanced it is. All of us are taking in the view as they land the jet in front of the palace, soaking up the rural and city parts.
"Shuri, this is so beautiful," I say with a smile as the jet lands. I look out the window and notice the Queen standing outside along with some more of the Doja Milaje guarding her. Shuri gives me a smirk as the doors open.
"Alright everyone, if you'll follow me," Okoye says to us as we grab our things, Bucky nervously looks around by himself and I go over to him, taking his hand in mine.
"It is going to be okay Bucky, "I whisper to him, getting a hesitant smile in return as we exit the jet. A couple of the warriors come up to us, taking our luggage for us as we gather in front of the queen. Thor was standing tall, looking all the bit as a King would.
"Greetings and welcome to Wakanda, I am Queen Ramonda," Ramonda states, making Thor reach his hand out and take her outstretched one. We all introduce ourselves and Bucky is the last to. "You poor man, being used as a ploy." Ramonda says empathetically before glancing at her daughter "My Shuri and your niece will fix you up in no time Seargent Barnes." She states with a smile.
"Yes Mother we will," Shuri says, giving Bucky a wink. We were taken into the castle and given a tour that takes about an hour, we were shown where our rooms would be and the last place they showed us was the dining hall.
"We will all feast together before you go to the lab and put Seargent Barnes under," Ramonda instructs. We all nodded in agreement and sit down for dinner, Bucky was polite and held the chair for the Queen, Shuri, and me. "So Princess Evangeline, I've known of you since you and Shuri met but I am sad that it took this long for us to meet." She says with a warm smile.
"Please Queen Ramonda, it's just Evangeline or Evie, "I say with a smile before continuing. "Shuri and I wanted to meet in person but between the Avengers, my dad's business, and school, the timing was just completely off," I say apologetically.
"Well I'm glad you are here, my husband and children speak very highly of you." She says, making me blush. She asks questions to everyone, including Thor and Bucky. We all get to know each other a little bit more. She even told us a couple of stories about her late husband and some of T'Challa and Shuri. Thor talked about Asgard and their culture, and we compared ourselves to each other.
"So Evie will eventually have to do things like that?" Pietro asks after Thor was explaining his duties. I look at Thor as well, having never heard of anything like that.
"No, not unless something happens to Loki and me," Thor assures with a smile. After that, dinner wrapped up rather quickly and Shuri was leading Bruce, Bucky, and me to the lab to get him set up so that he could heal quicker. On the way, Shuri was asking Bucky what he remembered while I was sending a text to my secret source and tracking Dad.
