Loki, Thor, and I were in the library of the palace looking at different journals that my mother had written when she was a kid. We read about her favorite uses of her magic. Loki starts showing me simple things to do with my magic, so far I am able to make snowflakes in my hand freeze a cup of water.
"Now try to make a ball of energy in your hands," Loki instructs. I follow through with what he says giving him a big smile. He continues instructing me in the art of magic, smiling as I learn how to use my powers rather quickly, and I only get a little annoyed when Loki gives me snacks in between to keep my energy up. After working for a couple of hours, Loki looks over at the clock. "We need to go visit Thor in the arena to work on battle magic," Loki says with a smile, teleporting us to the arena.
"Hi, Uncle Thor!" I say with a smile going over to hug him. He hugs back, giving me a kiss on the forehead. "Look what Uncle Loki taught me!" I say excitedly before showing him everything that was taught to me. All of Thor's friends were impressed with my magic.
"Woah, what else can she do?" Lady Sif asks excitedly. I look at Loki who smiles.
"Alright Evie, I'm going to throw a sword at you, I want you to focus on protecting everyone here okay?" Loki says looking at me, grabbing a sword. I nod and focus all of my energy gasping as when Loki throws the sword, there is a white forcefield around all of us except Loki, and it pushes the sword back toward him. Everyone looks at me shocked.
"How long has she been doing magic?" Sif asks glancing at us. I smile sheepishly, putting the forcefield away.
"This is her first official day, she knew how to freeze stuff and that was it." Thor says smiling at me with a proud grin. Everyone's jaws practically dropped to the ground making me look at the ground. "Now Evie, can you think about something that makes you mad and just see what happens?" Thor asks. I nod and think for a minute focusing on how I was lied to about my mother for years. I feel the cold creep up my body and I turn away from everyone and blast the ground, making ice shoot up.
