⎮Quinjet- 4 Hours Later⎮
The jet finally rumbles off as it sets and everyone looks around confused. I had woken up half an hour ago, but haven't moved from my spot from laying on Dad and Loki. I sit up from my spot, grabbing my bear and putting it back in my bag. Dad gives me a kiss on the forehead before looking over at Clint as he starts heading off the jet. We all walk off the jet and look around confused when we see a large farmhouse. I stay next to Dad while Steve comes over and intertwines his hand with Dad's, keeping me between the two of them.
"What is this place?" Thor asks coming behind us with Loki who gives me a reassuring smile as we walk up the steps of the house. Clint grabs keys out of his ring looking back at us with a smile.
"A safe house?" Dad asks unsure. Clint unlocks the door before turning back at Dad.
"Let's hope," Clint says as he leads us inside. I look around and look at the obviously lived-in house where there are toys and comfy couches. "Honey, I'm home," Clint calls out. A pregnant woman walks in and smiles at Clint before looking at us with confusion, it's obvious she had no clue about us coming. "Hi. Company. Sorry I didn't call ahead." Clint says hugging the woman.
"Hey." Mystery woman responds smiling at all of us. She kisses Clint before looking all of us over, eyes lighting up with recognition, and her eyes land on me and they soften immensely.
"This is an agent of some kind," Dad whispers, leaning back toward Loki and Thor. Loki rolls his eyes at Dad giving me a raised eyebrow while Thor nods in agreement.
"Gentleman, Evie, this is Laura," Clint says introducing us to Laura with a proud smile. He's obviously married to the woman and I spot a family photo on the mantlepiece. I also notice he didn't mention Natasha which means she knew all about this. I glance at her as she gives Laura a big smile.
"I know all your names," Laura says making everyone look at her all awkward since we hadn't known hers. Before anyone can comment, we hear footsteps coming down from I'm assuming the stairs. A second later two kids come running around the corner, heading straight for Clint. The older child is a boy that looks to be around my age while the girl is younger maybe 7 or 8. I smile softly as the kids get ready to pounce on Clint.
"Ooh, incoming," Clint says while the two of them hug him tightly, and I let out a small sniffle, leaning into my Dad while I watch Clint reunite with his newly discovered family.
"Dad!"The girl says excitedly as Clint picks her up. I smile at them and laugh at how cute they are. Clint looks over giving me a wink.
"I see her!" Clint says kissing the top of his son's head and then his daughter's. "Hey, buddy! How you are guys doing? Ooh..." Clint says making me smile at how comofrting the scene is.
"These are...smaller agents," Dad says referring to the two kids. Loki and I share a look, before rolling our eyes at his commentary.
"Did you bring Auntie Nat?" The girl asks making me look at Natasha with a small smirk before revealing herself to the children since they hadn't really looked at us yet.
