3rd Person POV
= Kansas City; 2021 =
Mick is walking back and forth with a tracker in his hand while it beeps. Brooklyn watches with Maddie on her hip
"Uh, you... you need some help with that, Mick?" Sara asks. "Maybe you should just, you know, take it easy."
"I'm pregnant, not paralyzed." Mick grumbles
"Yeah. Okay. Well, do your thing." Sara says as she looks at Brooklyn who shrugs
"Are you sure this is the right spot?" Spooner asks
"I'm just following the beeps." Mick says
"Then why are you going in circles?" Astra questions. "Maybe the tracker's busted." Astra mumbles
The tracker leads the group towards the pod. "Aha!" Mick exclaims as they walk over...but it's broken
"Last pod in the timeline and it's a total dud." Spooner says
Maddie squirms out of Brooklyn's hands and touches the pod, looking over the side. Maddie reaches in to grab something when Brooklyn grabs her from behind. "There's something inside." She says
"What is it?" Sara asks
"I don't know but I'm not letting Maddie touch it." Brooklyn says, putting her daughter back on her hip
Astra reaches in and grabs a metal cube with symbols on it. "Nothing's happening." She says
"Could be dangerous." Mick says, grabbing the cube from Astra
"Oh, it's one of those, uh, puzzle things." Spooner says. "You gotta solve it to open it." She says, grabbing it from Mick
"Hey, I'm not done yet." Mick says, going to grab it back
"Give me that!" Astra says, tugging on the cube
Brooklyn and Sara share a look while Sara touches her comms. "Hey, babe, I think we're gonna be a while." She says
"Yep, take all the time you need, babe. There's seriously no rush." Ava's voice says through the comms
"Guys, can we please just get it together?" Sara asks, walking over and pulling Brooklyn (and Maddie) with her. And the second Sara touches the cube, the group is transported in a flash of green
"Where the hell are we?" Sara asks as the group looks around a bowling alley. Brooklyn looks at her outfit. Like the others, she was wearing a blue bowling shirt and black leggings with 'The Legends' on the back of the shirt. Maddie had the same outfit on as well, matching the others
"One minute, we're in a gross junkyard, and the next, we're in a gross bowling alley." Astra says
"Spooner, are you getting something?" Sara asks
"Uh, this place, major alien vibes." Spooner says
"I don't see any aliens." Mick says
"I got a bad feeling about this." Brooklyn says
Astra sees an exit sign. "Sooner we get out of here, the better." She says, the group walking with her towards the exit. She busts open the door and opens falls into nothingness. Mick catches her and the group looks out on...space....
"Whoa, where is, um... everything?" Spooner asks
"I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore." Sara comments

"So we've been abducted by aliens." Astra reasons
"Again." The group says at the same time
