"Ready?" asked Marsha, who was typing on a computer across the room. Kiki was sitting in a pod-like cage with see-through glass. She had chains tied around her arms, feet and neck.
"Remember, I'll be monitoring your heart rate via the special chains on you, but if you die in your dreams, you'll die from shock in real life."
"Didn't you say 'no sacrifice'?"
"Yeah, about that... I lied. Anyways, you'll be fine, I can wake you up anytime."
"You better."
Marsha started up the program and a special sleeping gas filled the pod. Kiki quickly fell asleep and the last thing she remembered was the feeling of falling backwards into what is now the lawn in front of her house. She stood up and stared at all of her sorroundings. Yes, she was able to see now. She realized she was seven years old again, before the curse had even been put on her.
"Kiki, come here!"
A female voice called for her. It must be my real mother... she thought. She ran towards her mother and gave her a hug.
"I love you, Mom." she said, with a big smile.
"Well, I love you too sweetie." replied the kind woman.
Kiki's mother's name was Azure, after a blue flower that grew in her hometown. Azure had beautiful brown flowing hair and the rarest beige-colored eyes. Although her eyes were strange, they were beautiful beyond compare. Seven year-old Kiki had the same profile, besides the fact that her eyes had a hint of hazel-green in them and her hair was an orange-ish brown . They were even stranger, but as beautiful as her mother's.
Azure and Kiki spent for what seemed to Kiki like a whole month in that dream world. This helped Kiki experience Pink Aura, the Aura of love. However, one day, a man arrived in a red pick up truck and, while Kiki was playing in the lawn, she saw the man run inside the house and slap Azure. She ran towards the window and hid there while eaves-dropping on them.
"Where's Kiki? Where'd you hide her, Azure?!" the man shouted.
"You don't deserve to see our child! I won't let you take her away!"
"Okay, then. I guess you need a little convincing."
The stranger started to slap Azure repeatedly. He threw her against the wall and picked her up by her hair. He dragged her to the pickup and threw her in the back seat.
"Where are you taking me?! Let me go! My daughter needs me!"
As the car drove away, Kiki jumped in the trunk without hesitation. The car stopped in a forest in the middle of nowhere and the stranger threw Azure on the floor and took out a rifle.
"Stop! Leave my mom alone!" Kiki shouted while jumping off the trunk.
The man smiled and said: "There's my beautiful little daughter. It's me, your daddy. Come 'n give me a hug"
"You're not my father, you're a cruel man who hurts my mom!"
"Oh really? Then, I guess you both get to die today."
The man pointed the rifle at Kiki and shot three bullets. Kiki stared horrified at the blood on the floor.
"Mom! NO!" she screamed.
Azure shielded Kiki with her body and whispered "I love you." before quickly falling in her own pool of blood.
"Huh? Oh, well, I was gonna kill her anyways. Now it's your turn." the man grinned sinisterly.
The man was about to shoot when two officers arrived at the scene. This, made her experience Red Aura, the Aura of bloodshed. Kiki passed out and woke up in a new scenery. She was sitting in a bed in a pink and girly bedroom. A woman walked in and called for her. Who could it be? Kiki thought.

Let's leave it at that ;) I think you guys have a good idea of who it is. If you don't, well, sucks to be you right now. Hahaha, I'm kidding, guys. I love all of youse!! :) It's getting pretty hard to updated three books every three days, so I'm sorry, ok? (even though I only have.. what, 3 fans out there?) Ah, it doesn't matter, ONE fan is enough for me. Just knowing that someone is out there, taking out valuable time to read this, is MORE than enough for me. Ahh, I've gone and went all sentimental on you guys! >.< Meh, whatever. Anyways, PART 2 of Kiki's Past is coming up soon ;) It'll probably take more time since I have to write The Nuclear Child! Thanx 4 everything! ~V.P.
