"Good morning, Kiki. Wanna have breakfast now?"
Kiki suddenly remembered that her mother was killed by her father. He was sent to prison and she was sent to live with her twenty year-old aunt, Marsha.
"Hey, you okay?"
"Does anyone at the new school know?" Kiki asked.
"No, I told everyone to keep quiet. Why?"
"I wanna put all of this behind me. Can you be my mother now?"
"What do you mean by that?!" flinched Marsha.
"Can you act like my mom from now on? I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me."
"Sure. Anyways, I'm leaving for the hospital soon, so I hired a nanny."
"Fine, whatever."
Kiki had her breakfast and a half hour later, the nanny arrived.
"Kiki, this is Jay. Jay, this is Kiki." Marsha said.
"What a pleasure to meet you, Kiki! What do you want to do?" asked Jay.
"Me? I'm going up to my room. You can watch T.V. or something."
"Kiki! Don't be so rude."
Kiki turned around and went up the stairs.
"I'm sorry, she must be tired from last night."
"Last night?" asked Jay.
"Yeah, she couldn't sleep very well."
"Oh, don't worry. Well, you must be going! Bye!" Jay smiled.
Marsha picked up her coat and waved goodbye.
Three years had passed since the death of Azure and the arrival of Kiki in Marsha's house. This meant that three years had also passed since she met Jay. Since then, Kiki and Jay had become very good friends, both trusting each other more than anyone. Even so, Kiki still hadn't told Jay about Azure's death. This bond allowed Kiki to experience Yellow Aura, the Aura of happiness.
"So, what do you want to do today?" asked Jay.
"Let's go to the mall." replied Kiki.
"I assume you have money, right?"
"One hundred fold."
"Wow, you've been saving a lot. Anyways, let's go."
Kiki and Jay arrived to the mall and headed towards the SuperCenter. They spent there all day shopping for materials to redecorate Kiki's room. It was all going smoothly until they were about to leave.
The store was closing, so few people were there. A man wearing a black hoodie and dark clothing entered the store. He grabbed Kiki and held her at gun point.
"Get down, all of you, or I shoot!" he screamed.
Jay, who was standing in front of him, kneeled down on the floor. The man pointed at the cashier to put the money in a duffelbag. So, these aren't dreams, they are my most life changing memories. Although, I don't remember the end of them until it's occurred. Ugh, what happened on this night?!? Damn it, it must be important! Kiki thought this to herself and struggled to remember.
The man slowly backed away with the bag full of money and Kiki still as his captive.
"You, you're with the girl, right? Come with me." he told Jay.
Jay followed him out the door. As they walked out, another two men came in wearing the same kind of clothing and holding two rifles each. Apparently, they were allies.
