Chapter 16

We run downstairs.

"Hey Thomas do we still have the mic and drum set?"

"Yeah why?"

"Where is it?"

"In the storage room."

Dean and I grab everything and put it together.

"Are you sure?"

"Oh 100%"

We start recording ABCDEFU by Gayle.

Everyone walks outside to see what Dean and I are doing.

Thomas looks at Jacob and Vinnie.

"Did you know they could do that?"

Jacob sighs. "Nope, but I know for a fact that is to me."

"Wasn't that obvious?"

We take the headphones off and see everyone staring at us.

"What? Did we do something?"

"Since when did you two do that?"

"We've used to do this all the time as kids. It's a good stress reliever."

Vinnie walks over to see a list of songs.

"Are these the songs you guys plan on doing?"

Dean stands up.

"Yeah, some of them I sing and Syd does the drums and some Syd sings."

"Love songs?"

"Mhm."

"Who are those for?"

I smirk a little. "I don't know."

"But Syd.. I am super sorry."

"For what?"

"The whole thing that happened with Jacob."

"You have no reason to be sorry."

Vinnie kisses me then looks at my list. All of a sudden he adds a song to it.

"Sucker by The Jonas Brothers?"

"Mhm. I making Dean do it with me."

I laugh at him a bit.

"What?"

"Nothing. Your just adorable."
