Chapter 2

Jacob looks at me like I'm stupid.

"Why do you need to know?"

"I'm just curious, that's all."

"It's just a friend. Her name is Veronica."

"Oh.. can I see your phone?"

"What no! Your just being paranoid."

"Jacob. Are you cheating on me?"

"No! Why do you all keep asking me that?!"

"BECAUSE IT SEEMS LIKE IT! YOU LEAVE HERE AT 10:30 EVERY FUCKING NIGHT, YOU WONT LET ME SEE YOUR PHONE, AND YOUR BEING A CONSTANT DICK!"

"MAYBE BECAUSE YOUR STILL IN LOVE WITH VINNIE!"

"MAYBE I AM! WHEN I WAS WITH VINNIE NONE OF THIS SHIT HAPPENED!"

"WELL MAYBE I WANT TO BREAKUP!"

The room goes dead quiet.

"Is that what you want? After ruining my perfect relationship? You can fucking have Veronica instead."

I run upstairs to my room and slam the door.

"What the fuck did you just do to her?"

Vinnie runs upstairs and knocks on my door.

"Hey Syd it's Vinnie. Can I come in?"

"Yeah.. come in.."

Vinnie walks in and I hug him instantly.

"Baby.. I mean Sydney- I hate seeing you like this.." 

"I don't get it. He ruins our relationship and then decides to be with someone else when he's with me."

"I know.."

All of a sudden I hear Thomas yell my name.

"SYD! SOMEONE IS HERE FOR YOU!"

I grab Vinnie's hand and drag him with me.

I look who is at the door.

"DEAN!" I run over and hug him.

"What are you doing here!?"

"Mom is drink a lot again and she told me if I don't get out of there she'd kill me."

"What-" I turn to Thomas.

"Can he stay with us?"

"Of course he can."

Dean looks at the group.

"Holy shit. Is that Jacob?"

"Yep. And we don't talk to him."

Dean looks at me. "Is that Vinnie?"

"Yep. We Do talk to him. Be friends with anyone you want, but beware Jacob might leave you for a girl named Veronica."

"Sydney chill out."

Dean looks at Jacob.

"I beat you up once and I can do it again. Leave her alone."
